Tibetan children's folk songs are rich in content and vary in forms,as it has been special,it teaches the children of moral and gives playful imaginationsIn this paper,by conducting field research,the oral songs have been collected,and based on the children's folk songs in the Five Provincial Tibetan textbooks of primary school,the categories,main features,and the educational function have been studied In the end of this paper,relating the songs in the Five Provincial Tibetan textbooks of primary school,the future of Tibetan children's folk songs studied as wellThis paper consists of six parts.In part one,in general,the definition of children's songs is compared at home and abroad,and the themes of it in general.In part two,Tibetan folk children' s songs are categorized into three,such as behavior,animals,and natural laws with examples.In part three,the comprehensive brevity,imagination,historical reflections are analyzed both from meaning and form.In part four,Tibetan children's folk songs'positive assist on children's linguistic acquisition,cognitive ability,developing interest,enhancing moral education,and cultural transition are explained pedagogically and physiologically.In part five,by analyzing the children's folk songs in the Five Provincial Tibetan Textbooks of primary school,the problems of minimizing the quantities,not putting it into priority,and lack of clear objectives are summarized.In part six,how to spread the Tibetan children's folk songs is discussed in three ways.Firstly,it should be combined with family education.Second,the children's folk songs in the Tibetan primary school textbooks should be improved Thirdly,composition of contemporary songs should be based on Tibetan children's folk songs At last,as the Tibetan children's folk songs is,as I see,an important part of a cultural tradition of People's Republic of China,it should be continued and developed at family and school education levels in practice for the future of the Tibetan children.
