Pictures are often used in history teaching practice because they have the functions of supplementing explanatory words,proving the reappearance of history and intuitively attracting readers.Especially as the carrier of information knowledge,they are deliberately and carefully selected in history textbooks by the editors.Therefore,the transformation of pictures in history teaching books can be an incision for us to explore the development of the concept of history education.This paper attempts to take the pictures of high school history textbooks since the founding of the People's Republic of China as the theme,and the pictures of modern Chinese history as the research object,to explore how the modern and contemporary high school history textbooks recognize and write the history of this period in the form of pictures in the past 70 years,so as to trace back the social background,national will and historical concept reflected by the historical pictures.The introduction,body,and conclusion constitute the main body of this article.The introduction expounds the reason for the topic selection and research status of this article,defines related concepts,and narrates the research objects,research methods,research significance and innovations of this article.The main text is divided into four chapters.The first chapter discusses the initial establishment of the picture system of history textbooks from the 1950 s to the 1960 s,depicting the tortuous process of illustration from scratch,reflecting the historical concepts of this period and the official attitude towards history teaching.attitude.The second chapter discusses the general situation of the great development of the picture system of history textbooks from the 1990 s to the early new century.In this period,the quality and quantity of historical pictures have been greatly improved,which further promotes the overall development of students' quality.The third chapter presents the process of the history textbook picture system constantly improving and becoming mature.At this stage,they are based on historical pictures,but beyond the pictures themselves,making the functions and contents of pictures revolve around the sustainable development of students to the greatest extent,helping them to make meaningful,valuable and in-depth historical thinking.The fourth chapter analyzes the selection standard and basis of history textbooks from the horizontal.They are all focused on the development of learning subjects,which are important factors for editors to consider and consider before choosing pictures.The conclusion is a comprehensive overview of the whole text and the author's reflection on the shortcomings of this article.The scientificization of picture quality,type,content and function of history textbooks is the process of continuous optimization of history textbooks.History education is a process of changing from "teaching" to "learning benefit",taking students as the main body and taking people as the basis of education philosophy: it tries to start from the course of history,take pictures as the media,and gradually focus on the picture itself to focus on the picture The main body and the realization of the long-term development of students are the final goal.This is a transformation of the education standard and the students' quality development standard in the history education.
