The Chinese Curriculum Standards for Senior High School issued in 2017 takes "the whole book reading" as an important learning task group,which runs through compulsory,optional and elective courses." the whole book reading" has clearly become the content of Chinese course,which not only brings challenges to our reading teaching,but also brings new opportunities and perspectives.Shi Ji is one of the cultural classics recommended for reading in and out of the new curriculum standard,which is of great value.“The whole book reading”can cultivate students' reading ability,improve their language proficiency,broaden their horizons,enrich their life experience and spiritual world,inherit the excellent traditional Chinese culture,and enhance their cultural confidence.In view of this,this paper takes the whole book reading Shi Ji as the research object,and studies it from the following aspects.Primarily,in the preface,this paper puts forwards questions in terms of the practical needs such as the requirements of the curriculum and textbook,the development of students,the reforming trend of college entrance examination,using the literature method,questionnaire survey and case analysis and other survey methods to review domestic and foreign research results systematically and define the concept of "the whole book reading".Through the research,the author expects to provide certain reference for the teaching of "Shi Ji".Secondly,a questionnaire survey was conducted on the Chinese teachers and students in the teaching area,mainly investigating their reading status and the reading status of the whole book reading,which pointed out the direction of the author's research.Then,the value of it is explored and elaborated,and the core teaching content is determined.Finally,this paper analyzes the teaching design and teaching strategies of the whole book reading,and attempts to design the teaching case of "the War between Chu and Han".In the teaching design,a systematic curriculum system is constructed from six aspects,namely,the nature of the course,the teaching objectives,the choice of bibliography,the time arrangement,the content and the evaluation of the course.In the teaching strategies,from the perspective of Chinese teachers' "teaching",six strategies are proposed,including changing teaching concepts,cultivating students' reading interests,teaching students scientific reading methods,driving students' reading process with tasks,and organizing colorful activities.From the perspective of "learning",this paper puts forward four strategies for students to change their learning mentality,plan reading scientifically and actively participate in activities.
