With the continuous development of society, more and more attention is paid to the cultivation of creative talents. How to train creative talents has gradually become a hot topic in the education field. The core of creative talents is creative thinking,so it is particularly important to cultivate students' creative thinking. The ability to ask questions demonstrates the flexibility and creativity of a person's thinking, and is closely related to creative thinking. Many studies have shown that there is a correlation between mathematical problem-proposing ability and creative thinking, but there is not enough empirical research, and more is to explain the correlation between the two from the theoretical level. This research takes 146 second-year high school students from a demonstrative high school in Wuhan as the research object. It adopts the method of test paper survey, and has gone through a series of research processes such as preparation of test papers, prediction and modification of test papers, formal testing, data statistics, and investigation and analysis.Discussing the relevance of high school students' math problem-proposing ability and mathematics creative thinking, the following conclusions are obtained:First,From an overall point of view, high school students have a mediocre level of mathematics problem-posing ability, which needs to be strengthened.Students of different genders have no significant differences in the problem-posing ability scores and scores on each dimension;students of different class levels have no significant differences in the problem-posing scores, question types, and question novelty dimensions, and there are no significant differences in the number of questions.Significant differences;students have significant differences in performance in different types of situations, and perform best in semi-structured situations.Second,On the whole, the level of creative thinking in mathematics of high school students is relatively low.Students of different genders have no significant differences in the scores of mathematical creative thinking and the scores of all dimensions;students of different class levels also have no significant differences in the scores of mathematical creative thinking and the scores of all dimensions.Third,There is a significant positive correlation between the second grade students' mathematics problem-posing ability and mathematical creative thinking. There is also a significant positive correlation between the various dimensions of mathematical problem-posing ability and mathematical creative thinking.Among them, the novelty dimension of the problem has the highest correlation with mathematical creative thinking. There is also a significant positive correlation between the ability to pose mathematical problems and the dimensions of mathematical creative thinking.Among them, the ability to pose mathematical problems has the highest correlation with the originality dimension.Fourth,Taking the score of mathematics problem-posing ability as the independent variable and the score of the mathematics creative thinking test as the dependent variable, the unstandardized regression equation is y=7.272+2.839x;Taking the scores of each dimension of the ability to pose mathematical problems as the independent variables and the scores of the Mathematical Creative Thinking Test as the dependent variables, the unstandardized regression equation is:y=25.173+0.759x1+0.602x2+1.932x3,Among them,x1 is the scores for the number of questions,x2 is the types of questions,x3 is the novelty of the questions.
