The nature of Chinese subject is the unity of instrumental and humanistic.From the Chinese Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2001 Edition),it can be clearly seen that China has begun to change the phenomenon of excessive reliance on instrumental in Chinese subject in the past,and the humanistic nature of Chinese has begun to be paid attention to.Humanism means to pay attention to and cherish every life individual and take human development and needs as the first,which coincides with the goal of life education.The focus on humanism in Chinese discipline provides an opportunity for the implementation of life education in Chinese reading teaching.This research adopts literature method,questionnaire method and interview method to conduct investigation and research.From the research,it is found that most junior middle school students have a negative attitude towards life,do not have a good understanding of suicide and death,do not pay attention to life,and do not know what to do in the face of pressure and difficulties.At the same time,Chinese teachers ignore life education in the setting of teaching objectives,traditional teaching methods and low penetration of life education.The reasons are summarized as follows:first,Chinese teachers lack of awareness of life education;second,Chinese teachers can not fully explore the life education resources in textbooks;third,Chinese teachers have improper methods of implementing life education in Chinese teaching.According to these reasons,the author tries to put forward some improvement measures,these measures include:to improve the Chinese teachers' awareness of life education,Chinese teachers should rationally excavate the life education resources in Chinese reading teaching,Chinese teachers should innovate the methods of implementing life education in Chinese reading.Finally,in order to complete my research,the author provided two teaching designs of selected essays on life education according to his own idea,and proposed the problems that should be paid attention to in the implementation of life education strategy in junior middle school Chinese reading teaching.I hope this research can provide some ideas for front-line teachers to carry out reading teaching.
