| The Outline of the National Medium-and Long-Term Education Reform and Development Plan(2010-2020)states that teachers should pay attention to the combination of learning and thinking and help students learning how to learn.The Biology Curriculum Standard of Senior High School(2017 edition 2020 revision)also puts forward that biology teaching should stimulate students’ desire for knowledge,make learning methods diversified,and help students to learn independently and construct knowledge actively.It can be seen that students need to learn correct learning strategies in order to learn high school biology curriculum well.The class note-taking strategy is one of the most common learning strategies and must be mastered by students.But at present,there are few students in China under the guidance of systematic class notes.Therefore,the investigation and guidance strategy of high school students’ biology class notes will help high school students to form good habits of class notes and study.It is also helpful to provide reference for biology teachers to know how to guide students’ class notes in teaching.The thesis takes 459 high school students as research object from three schools in different regions of Shandong Province.Through the method of questionnaire survey,I analysised the students’ attitude,behavior,ability,external factors,and effect in biology class notes.The analysis explored the correlation between the level of high school students’ class notes and their grades,as well as the differences between schools,grades,and gender.I also analyzed the current situation of high school students’ biology class notes through teacher interviews and text analysis of students’ class notes;Based on the students’ class note-taking problems reflected in the above survey,I put forward a note-taking guidance strategy and implemented it.The implementation is mainly carried out through the biology class note-taking activity and teachers’ demonstration of class notes;After the implementation,I analyzed the implementation effect of the guidance strategy in three aspects: the text materials of the notes,the student post-test questionnaire,and the student interviews.The results are as follows:(1)High school students’ biology class notes are generally in the upper middle level;(2)There is a weak positive correlation between the level of high school students’ class notes and they grade of biology;(3)There is no significant difference among three high school students’ class notes level(p>0.05);(4)There is significant difference between the senior one and senior two students in level of class notes(p<0.05),and the level of senior one is significantly higher than that of senior two;(5)There is no significant difference in the level of class notes(p>0.05)between boys and girls;(6)Teachers generally require students to take biology notes,but some teachers lack specific requirements,guidance and advice for notes;(7)Some students need to solve the problems in the content of class notes,the format of class notes,the skills and methods of class notes,and the relationship between listening and taking notes;(8)Before and after the implementation of the note-taking guidance strategy,the students’ class notes level is significantly different in general(p<0.01),and the post-test students’ class notes level is significantly higher than the pre-test;(9)After the implementation of the strategy,students had a positive evaluation of the teacher’s class note guidance.In this research,I established the standard of high school biology class notes,and the specific guidance strategies for students’ class notes.The guidance strategy is divided into three parts: guidance on note recording,guidance on note sorting,and guidance on note useing.It is hoped that it can help teachers to guide students’ notes in biology teaching.The purpose of this study is to provide reference for other researchers to study biology notes,and for other biology teachers’ teaching.Due to the limited experience of the author,there are some shortcomings in this study which need to be further improved. |
