| Mathematics education pays attention to the cultivation of students’ mathematical thinking.Mathematical language is the undertaker of mathematical thinking.In classroom teaching,mathematical expression is the interactive communication between teachers and students through the application of mathematical language.So,the students’ mathematical expression ability directly affects the students’ mathematical thinking ability and affects the process of mathematics teaching and the effect of mathematics teaching.In short,it is particularly important to improve junior high school students’ mathematical expression ability.First of all,the author introduces the background of the problem,the research content and research methods,and the significance of this study,and analyzes the theoretical research on junior high school students’ mathematical expression ability.Secondly,using the questionnaire investigates the level of mathematical expression ability in a junior high school,and analyzes the obtained data.This article elaborates students’ situation of mathematical expression ability from five dimensions,including students’ psychological state,students’ cognition of mathematical expression ability,students’ self-cognition of mathematical expression ability,students’ mathematical expression ability and teachers’ mathematical expression ability.In addition,using the test paper investigates the problems existing in students’ mathematical expression,and finds that there are some problems in students’ expression results and expression process.The main problems in the expression results are that the expression results are not accurate enough,the expression content is not clear enough,and the presentation of the expression content is not neat enough.The problems in the expression process mainly include the expression process is too casual,the expression process is too cumbersome and the use of language is not standard.This paper also selected some middle school teachers for the interview.Thirdly,through the analysis of the results of the questionnaire,the problems reflected in the test paper and the interview with teachers,this paper makes attribution analysis on the influence of junior high school students’ mathematical expression ability.The factors at the student level mainly include differences in individual personality of students,inadequate understanding and application of mathematical language,insufficient attention to mathematical expression ability,lack of confidence in mathematical expression,and lack of standardized habits in mathematical expression.At the teacher level,the main factors are that teachers pay too much attention to the accuracy of the expression results,the cognitive accuracy of the mathematical expression is not enough,the demonstration of the mathematical expression is not enough,and the feedback of the mathematical expression is not enough,the collision between the old and new educational ideas and the obstacles to improve students’ mathematical expression ability.The environmental factors include the lack of atmosphere to improve students’ mathematical expression ability in the classroom and the lack of practical activities to improve students’ mathematical expression ability outside the classroom.Finally,according to the current level of students’ mathematical expression ability,existing problems and cause analysis,this paper puts forward seven strategies,which are to improve teachers’ awareness of cultivating students’ mathematical expression ability,create a classroom atmosphere of mathematical expression,strengthen the normative training of students’ mathematical language expression,improve the training form of students’ mathematical language expression,pay attention to the cultivation of students’ mathematical expression habits,pay attention to the comprehensive evaluation of students’ mathematical expression,and add the diversified activities to cultivate students’ mathematical expression ability. |
