With the continuous development of the society and education system,the requirement for education is not only to impart knowledge,but also to require quality education and the all-round development of students.According to the requirements of the new curriculum standards,students need to be able to use accurate and rigorous mathematical language to discuss and query during studying mathematics.At the same time,inaccurate expression is also an important point for students to lose points in mathematics examination.Therefore,having good mathematical language expression ability is also of great help to the improvement of junior high school students' math scores.Of course,it is one-sided to only pay attention to grades.Improving the mathematical language expression ability of junior high school students can cultivate students' coherent mathematical thinking and promote the development of their logical thinking.It has a positive transfer effect on students' mathematical learning in high school and even college.This topic is mainly carried out from the following aspects:First of all,the author detailed reading the domestic and foreign experimental research and literature about the ability of mathematical language,described the reasons,the purpose and the significance of this question.Then the core concepts and theoretical basis related to this study are described from system to concrete and from aspect to point,which lays a solid foundation for the subsequent research of this paper.Secondly,the preparatory work for the experimental study on improving the mathematical language expression ability of junior high school students was carried out.The author first came to the school of teaching experiment-jinan high-tech zone haichuan middle school,for a semester of internship.After fully understanding the basic conditions of students,four classes with similar conditions were selected,one class as the experimental class and three classes as the control class.Then,according to the specific situation of the students,the experimental questionnaire(including pre-test and post-test,and pre-test questionnaire also includes attitude test)wasprepared.The third,the present situation of junior middle school students mathematical language expression ability test,the branch of a pretest questionnaire data,understand that in comparative classes and experimental classes if there is a bigger difference,analysis the current junior middle school students mathematical language expression ability and analyze the causes of existing problems,according to former measure reflect the problem to formulate measures taken by experiments,and got very good cooperate with the teacher to ensure the smooth progress of the experiment.Then,after the experiment was conducted for two months,a post-test was conducted.A variety of data analysis software was used to conduct a comparative analysis of the pre-test data and the post-test data,including question score,item data and gender data.After the analysis,the following conclusions were obtained:(1)the junior middle school students in terms of mathematical language expression is have higher enthusiasm but still needs to be improved.(2)junior high school students generally have an imperfect mathematical language system,unable to express what they want.(3)in all aspects of the mathematical language expression ability of junior high school students,there is a lack of comprehensive mathematical language expression ability.(4)there is a significant gender difference in the expression ability of mathematical graphic language of junior high school students,and boys are superior to girls.(5)effective teaching strategies play a significant role in improving the mathematical language expression ability of junior high school students.Finally,the conclusion obtained from the experiment and the experimental measures taken are summarized as the teaching strategies to improve the mathematical language expression ability of junior high school students,and the future research on improving the mathematical language expression ability of junior high school students is proposed.
