With the increasing demand for Chinese language learning in Thailand year by year,the number of volunteers going to Thailand to carry out Chinese teaching is increasing.Thai Chinese teaching is developing rapidly,but the unbalanced development is also becoming increasingly apparent.The specific manifestations are as follows: regional development is unbalanced,the Chinese teaching level in northeastern Thailand lags behind the central,southern,and northern regions of Thailand;the development of semesters is unbalanced,the Chinese teaching level at the basic education stage is obviously lagging behind the higher education stage.The investigation and research on the status quo of Chinese teaching in elementary and middle schools in northeastern Thailand can provide some real information for Chinese teachers who will teach in the region,and provide some solutions for reducing the gap between the level of Chinese teaching in this region and the other three major regions in Thailand.Promote the sound development of Chinese teaching in Northeast Thailand.This article summarizes the domestic and foreign research on Chinese language teaching in Thailand,especially in the northeastern part of Thailand,and on this basis,conducts an investigation and research on the status quo of Chinese teaching in primary and middle schools in Northeast Thailand.First of all,starting from exploring the status quo of Chinese teaching in primary and secondary schools in Northeast Thailand,taking the primary and secondary schools in the region as the main research object,using questionnaire surveys,field interviews,observations and other methods to deeply understand the current situation of Chinese teachers,students,Current status of courses and use of teaching materials.Secondly,based on the analysis of the status quo of Chinese teaching in primary and secondary schools in northeastern Thailand,it is concluded that there are two major achievements and four major problems in Chinese teaching in primary and secondary schools in this region.Thirdly,based on the development of Chinese teachers' ability,the goal is to solve the problems of Chinese teaching in primary and secondary schools in the northeast of Thailand.It provides four development strategies for Chinese teachers in this region: develop professional skills;stimulate students' learning motivation;innovative teaching methods;flexible use Textbooks,and use the theory of strength crisis analysis to supplement the analysis of the development of Chinese teaching in primary and secondary schools in the northeastern of Thailand.Finally,the research results of this paper are summarized and prospected and the deficiencies of the paper are pointed out.
