With the continuous development of China’s economy and rising internationalstatus, more and more people begin to pay close attention to China, close to China.Learning Chinese and Chinese culture become a trend an fashion. The number ofpeople learning Chinese in Thailand has reached more than800000. However,because Thailand across political, economic and cultural development imbalance,Chinese-teaching showed unbalanced and synchronization across Thailand, just likethe north province of Chiang mai, the south province of Phuket and the Capital ofBangkok, due to the overseas Chinese is more, Confucius institutes and Confuciusclassrooms set up earlier,Chinese education developed earlier, Chinese culturetransmission speed faster, Chinese-teaching development present a booming trend.But in the central,northeast and eatern provinces of Thailand,such as Roi Et province,Surin province, Sa Kaeo province, etc.,due to the slow economic development,lessChinsese,Chinese-teaching there start later and develop slowly. This article takes tenprimary and secondary schools opening Chinese classes in Sa Kaeo province as theresearch objects, mainly adopts the methods of investigation and study on teachingand learning subjects were investigated by questionnaire and interview. The teachersurvey mainly from the aspect of teachers, teaching materials, teaching methods tosurvey; The student survey is mainly from the aspects of learning motivation,learning attitude, learning method to carry out. At the same time, combined with thebasic situation of Sa Kaeo province and the surveying schools, as well as the author’steaching experience in Thailand,analysis come to the conclusion about the Chineselanguage teaching in Sa Kaeo province there:Chinese teaching start late and developslowly, material shortage, Chinese teachers there,Chinese teachers’ Thaicommunication level are different, shortage of experience in teaching Chinese,andtheir Chinese cultivation do be promoted, the schools there need to strengthen onthe popularization of Chinese, no Chinese teachers send by NOCFL, no Thai Chineseteachers, Confucius institutes and Confucius classrooms’radiation has little impact in Sa Kaeo province. Ami at the existing problems of teaching Chinese in Sa Kaeoprovince, the writer put forward that the schools in Sa Kaeo province need try theirbest to improve the teaching materials and teaching method, strengthen the teachertraining,to speed up the cooperation with local Confucius institutes of the relevantagencies,etc. This article obtains from the regional reseach, hope that through thesurvey of Chinese teaching situation of Sa Kaeo province,to reflect the ThaiChinese teaching situation, providing some valuable information to Thai Chineseteachers and reseachers,and to promote the Chinese teaching in Sa Kaeo provinceand even the development of Chinese language education in Thailand.
