With the reforms of the High School Entrance Examination and National College Entrance Examination,students have been faced with the problems of choosing subjects,schools,and exams since the beginning of junior high schools.The selection of subjects in junior high schools directly affects the selection of high schools and the selection of majors in universities.Career education at the junior high school has played an important role in the selection of subjects at the senior high schools,the formulation of life goals,and the choice of future careers.Therefore,it is imperative to carry out career education at the junior high schools.This research comprehensively and systematically investigates the current status and existing problems of career education in Zhengzhou Z Junior High School,and tries to put forward strategies to solve the problems in the school's career education,in order to improve the level of career education in this school.First of all,understand the current status of career education implementation by consulting the relevant literature and materials of career education.On this basis,combined with the actual development of career education in junior high schools,the necessity of studying career education in junior middle schools is elaborated.Secondly,the thesis takes the students and teachers of Zhengzhou Z Junior High School as the research objects,and comprehensively uses the methods of questionnaire survey and interviews to conduct a field investigation on the current implementation of the school's career education,and summarizes some of the school's achievements in career education.The school has initially established a career education model of "Curriculum + activities",mainly based on emotional intelligence classes,psychology classes and practical activities to carry out career education.There are also some problems: imperfect career education organization management,incomplete coverage of career education content and career education activities,incomplete career teacher team,and incomplete evaluation mechanism.Starting from the problems,explore the reasons for the problems in the school's career education.Finally,according to the current situation of the school's career education and the analysis of the causes of the existing problems,some strategies are proposed to improve the school's career education: improving the organization and management and perfecting the guarantee mechanism,improving the content of career education courses and expanding the implementation paths of career education,strengthening team building and improving the level of career education teachers,and constructing a perfect evaluation system of career education and improving of the implementation effect of career education.The purpose of this research is to propose effective strategies to improve the school's career education,improve the school's career education level,and then help students in the school to improve their career awareness and cultivate their career planning skills.
