| In recent years,with the reform and opening-up,China’s economy has developed greatly and the rural urbanization has also increased its pace.With the coming of the rural urbanization,the farmers’ living standards and quality have also improved a lot.At the same time,with the change of their ways of thinking,their ideas on education have also changed.However,due to the poor level of education,their concept of education is still relatively backward.The rural urbanization itself has also caused some negative influence.The land resettlement compensation brings people a lot of money overnight,which makes their life much better than before.Therefore,they lower the standards of their children,which makes their kids think it’s useless for them to work hard because of the good policy by government.S boarding school is under the historical background of rural urbanization.Thanks to the government policy of land requisition and demolishing,the lifestyle of the local people has greatly changed,which makes them lead a well-off life.Under the deep influence of rural urbanization,the exploration of home-school cooperation has got something effective,but there are still some unsatisfactory places.This study consists of four parts.First of all,in the beginning,the author studies the relevant theories about home-school cooperation both from home and abroad,aiming to propose the research meaning of this study,according to the comprehensive practice of S boarding school on home-school cooperation.Then the author uses questionnaires and interviews to get the relevant data.After that,the author uses the data to analyze the current situation of home-school cooperation in S boarding school to find out the advantages and disadvantages.Next,the authors aims to analyze the reasons for the deficiency.Finally,the author gives some valid suggestions to improve home-school cooperation in order to better cultivate students.This study finds out the problems of home-school cooperation include the following aspects.First,because the parents are limited by the low education level,they don’t know how to communicate with the school teachers.Second,parents don’t know proper educational methods,and they spend little time with their children.Third,the content of home-school cooperation is deficient,which goes against children’s comprehensive development.Fourth,the methods of home-school cooperation are too traditional,which can’t meet the deep demands of parents.Last but not least,home-school cooperation ignore the community education.Then the author gives valid advice to solve the problems mentioned above.For parents,first of all,they should change their ideas to improve the cognition of education and they also need to implement their responsibility of education.For schools,they should systematically carry out the work of home-school cooperation.They should not only take full advantage of traditional methods,like parent-school meeting and visiting students’ homes,but also activate the power of innovative methods,like PTA and parents’ school.For the society,they should have the legislative guarantee,supervisory mechanism and scientific evaluation system.They also need to involve the participation of the community in home-school cooperation.What’s more,the society must enhance the publicity,leading parents,schools and communities to work together in order to promote the comprehensive development of children. |
