Morality and rule of law are not only the needs of human development,but also an important symbol of the progress of human civilization.Junior high school morality and the rule of law includes morality as well as the rule of law.It is a highly comprehensive course covering morality,mental health,law,national conditions and other aspects.The new edition of junior high school ethics and rule of law textbook is illustrated with pictures and pictures.The colorful illustrations can stimulate the learning interest,cultivate the emotion and lead the practice.However,in the current course teaching of morality and rule of law,some schools have problems such as insufficient attention,insufficient research and improper application of illustrations.Therefore,this paper takes the illustrations in 6 textbooks of junior high school ethics and the rule of law approved by the Ministry of Education in 2016 as the research object,takes the development of Chinese students' core literacy as the purpose,and conducts a research on the application of illustrations in junior high school ethics and the rule of law textbooks on the basis of previous studies and combined with my own teaching practice.This paper is composed of four parts: The first part is the illustration of junior high school ethics and rule of law textbook;The second part expounds the necessity,feasibility and principle of using illustrations in junior high school ethics and rule of law textbooks.The third part,combining the investigation results and the existing experience,analyzes the problems existing in the use of illustrations by some teachers and the deficiencies existing in the use of illustrations by some students in learning and its influencing factors;In the fourth part,based on the existing problems and influencing factors in the current application of illustrations in junior high school ethics and rule of law textbooks,the author explores the application strategies of illustrations in junior high school ethics and rule of law textbooks from three aspects: updating teaching concepts and methods,using illustrations in textbooks scientifically,and improving students' ability to analyze illustrations.
