This study takes the social hot spot issue "The Dian Lake Water Environmental Protection" as the curriculum resource,developing and practicing the school-based curriculum called " Water Education Based on the Dian Lake " in Xishan Shiyan Middle School,which fills the gap of exploiting the school-based curriculum of water education in Middle School within Kunming area under the background of Dian Lake protection.The course aims to cultivate students' subject core competencies and help them to master the knowledge of "water",form a "water" consciousness,and develop "water" behavior.First of all,literature review was used in this study to summarize the research status and related theoretical basis of the Dian Lake conservation,water education,school-based curriculum development,and formulated the procedures of schoolbased curriculum development.Secondly,the SWOT analysis method and questionnaire method were used to investigate and analyze the feasibility of the school-based curriculum from the aspects of school education resources and students' learning needs.And the preparation of the curriculum development outline was completed based on the analysis results,which included establishment of curriculum concept,curriculum objectives,curriculum content,implementation plan and evaluation plan.Finally,42 students in grade one of Xishan Shiyan middle school were selected as the research subjects to carried out the school-based curriculum with action research method.Through the school-based curriculum development program evaluation scale,classroom teaching evaluation scale,student performance evaluation scale,pre-test and post-test paper and questionnaire survey,the school-based curriculum itself,the implementation process and students' academic development were evaluated and analyzed,after that the practical results were summarized.The results show that the school-based curriculum development of “Water Education Based on the Dian Lake” meets the needs of society,schools and students to a certain extent,and is conducive to the development of students' core competencies of biology and multiple intelligence,plays a positive role in the cultivation of students' environmental behavior accomplishment and the stimulation of their learning interests,at the same time,promotes the professional development of teachers.It can be used as a reference for schools located in the surroundings of the Dian Lake and other water area.In view of the shortcomings in practice,the author thinks that in the future,the cooperation mechanism among teachers of various subjects and the linkage mechanism among social forces should be established in this course.Then teaching practice will be carried out based on the current conditions of the school,meanwhile the content of school-based courses will be optimized according to students' actual situation.
