China is a developing country,is in the critical period of market transformation, although our country has established a relatively complete market economy system, but the current economic characteristics of our country is still dominated by the government, government departments still control the distribution of a large number of resources in society, and set up a high entry level in some markets. As the actual controller of political power, whether individuals or organizations with a certain political identity will apply political capital to obtain higher returns is crucial for the whole economy and society, and it is worth exploring.Since the reform and opening up,there have been a lot of criticism and dissatisfaction among the people in social media and the network, such as the uneven distribution of resources, the "official second generation" enjoying "privileges" and so on,so the "official second generation" seems to be synonymous with a larger return without too much effort. It is generally believed that the aura of parents’ political status can bring better employment opportunities and wage premiums to their children.therefore, this study based on the existing literature, through combing the relevant concepts and theoretical mechanisms, using the 2015 china comprehensive social survey(cgss2015)micro-survey data, analyzed the influence of parents’ political identity on their children’s employment choice and employment quality. In terms of employment choice, this paper uses "in-system" posts to judge the influence of parents’ political status on children’s employment;in terms of employment quality, this paper uses "income" as an alternative variable to measure whether parents’ political status brings wage premium to their children, and takes whether parents retire as a tool variable to explore whether parents’ political status plays a role in children’s income by affecting their children’s personal ability. The relationship between parents’ political status and their children’s employment variables can be concluded as follows :1.The father’s party membership is explained by the influence of father’s party member status on children’s employment statustransmission, human capital effect and political power effect.2.the political status of parents as political capital can not bring a higher rate of return on income for their children, when the means of action is achieved by affecting the ability of their children to bring a wage premium for their children. Finally,by exploring the influence mechanism and analyzing the empirical results, this paper attempts to provide a reference framework and useful countermeasures for promoting the formulation of social equity and employment-related policies in China. This paper holds that government departments should pay attention to the distribution of educational resources and equal educational opportunities, and party members should strengthen their own abilities. At the same time, relevant departments should strengthen the optimization and upgrading of job recruitment and employment mechanism within the "system ",reduce the impact of social identity barriers, and promote employment to drive social mobility and class mobility,so as to achieve employment and social equity.
