| Becoming a mother is an important milestone in a woman’s role change in her life.Although there are not many children today,the pressure on mothers to raise children is gradually increasing.In this process,novice mothers belong to a special group because of their physical,psychological and role changes.While they are constantly adjusting their physical and psychological states,they also need to bear the increase in childcare costs and the influence of various factors.Among them,the reemployment dilemma of the-first mother is an important issue.China has a large population and a large population base,and the current employment situation has also been severe.The issue of employment has always been an important social and economic issue in our country.The data of the "Sixth National Population Census" shows that the gender differences in employment between men and women in my country are becoming more and more obvious.In the past 20 years,the employment rate of women aged 16 to 59 has continued to decline,and the gender gap has further widened.In the occupational composition,the proportion of "white-collar" women is lower than that of men,and some occupations and industries have serious gender segregation.This shows that women are in a disadvantaged position to a certain extent in employment,and it is obviously more difficult for re-employment for the special group of novice mothers in the female group.The casework,which is one of the three major professional methods of social work,has strong professionalism and operability.This article is an in-depth analysis from the perspective of social work,and a case study is conducted on the case of Ms.Zhu,a first-time mother in the dilemma of reemployment in Wuhan.Focusing on the problems and needs of clients,it is supported by Maslow’s hierarchy of needs,social cognition theory,and social support theory.It aims to help clients have correct self-awareness and obtain family and social support.Solve your own problems to achieve re-employment and achieve self-worth.In the process of implementing services,social workers carried out eight intervention services.It mainly starts with the client’s own aspects,family relations,and reemployment,and interviews the client and the client’s family.Help clients to get rid of negative emotions,re-understand themselves and build self-confidence;alleviate contradictions between mother-in-law and mother-in-law,enhance the relationship between husband and wife,and create a good family atmosphere;This study enriches the theory and methods of social work for the reemployment of first-time mother,and is of great significance to the further development of social work practice in China. |
