| General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed at the meeting on deepening reform that "teachers should be the guides of students’ innovative thinking".Mr.He Kekang also issued a document proposing that innovation is the only way for the country’s development.With the development of artificial intelligence and the promulgation of Education Informatization 2.0,China has attached more importance to the relationship between artificial intelligence and the cultivation of innovative talents.Under this background,based on the weak innovation attribute of information technology curriculum in junior high school and the tendency of single subject in teaching content,this research takes junior high school students as the research object,under the guidance of STEAM education concept,develops a series of programming teaching cases around APP Inventor platform,and at the same time conducts research on the development level of students’ creative ability and interdisciplinary learning ability in teaching practice,designs creative ability test scale,and uses comparative research method to detect the development level of students’ creative ability.The results show that after a series of case teaching,the students’ relevant abilities have been developed and the teaching practice has achieved good results.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Analyze the development of STEAM concept and the research status of APP Inventor programming education at home and abroad,analyze the correlation between STEAM education and innovation ability,and sort out the basic characteristics of APP Inventor and its positive significance to the development of students’ creative ability and interdisciplinary ability.(2)APP Inventor series teaching case resources based on STEAM concept are developed for middle school students.A teaching model of "three stages and nine modules" is built around teaching cases.A teaching evaluation model matching with the teaching model is designed.Combining with the characteristics of programming education,an "Evaluation Form of Students’ Works Creation Process" is created and applied to teaching practice research.(3)APP Inventor programming teaching was implemented around the designed teaching model with reference to 5EX model and project-based learning theory.By collecting the scores in the "Evaluation Form of Students’ Works Creation Process" and combining the data in the "Creative Ability Test Form" before and after SPSS analysis,it is finally concluded that after the teaching of APP Inventor programming case under STEAM concept,students’ interdisciplinary learning ability has been developed,innovative thinking has been actively exercised,and creative ability has been greatly improved.Comprehensive research shows that under the STEAM concept,integrating multidisciplinary knowledge into APP Inventor teaching resource design and applying teaching practice has a positive role in promoting the development of students’ interdisciplinary learning ability and creative ability. |
