In this information globalization,with the development of media technology and the vigorous demand of people's entertainment,media spectacle has become a common cultural phenomenon in society.At the same time,the country is vigorously developing the sports industry,competitive sports are gradually commercialized and market-oriented,sports has become an important part of the media spectacle,martial arts fight project is no exception.As one of the representatives of domestic commercial martial arts fighting events,under the background of consumer society,the media,by combining with martial arts fighting events and using various media means,constantly create fighting stars,luxury scenes,public opinion phenomena,etc.,to attract the audience's "eyeballs",achieve the effect of stimulating consumption and carnival,and make the audience get instant pleasure.However,the dramatic,entertaining and exaggerated spectacle effect makes the essence of sports alienated.This paper takes KELNER's "media spectacle" as the research basis,takes the video text of the Wulin wind games as the research object,and uses the methods of literature,text analysis and content analysis to conduct in-depth research and analysis.Based on a comprehensive analysis of the representative domestic martial arts fighting events,the martial arts fighting events are mainly composed of five wonders:action spectacle,body spectacle,star spectacle,scene spectacle and event spectacle,Although the media spectacle can make the program more wonderful,stimulate the audience's interest in martial arts,promote the development of martial arts industry,spread the local martial arts culture,and promote the participation of the whole people in fitness.But on the other hand,the excessive spectacle will lead to the change of people's sports aesthetics,the excessive advocating of "entertainment to death",the indulgence in virtual experience,the neglect of traditional Chinese sports and so on.It is found that this situation is mainly due to the prevalence of consumerism,the change of public aesthetics,the lack of social responsibility of media and the commercialization of martial arts competition.Based on this,this study believes that it is particularly important to strengthen the social responsibility and media literacy of the media,pay attention to the professional integrity of the media people,and enhance the aesthetic awareness of the audience.Returning to the essence of sports events and reshaping the spirit of sports can make sports return to the normal and healthy track.
