With the continuous development of communication methods,The sports matches communication has changed the original communication pattern accordingly.Coverage of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil and the 2018 World Cup in Russia has not been confined live television,print analysis report and portal tournament updates,mobile phone client joins the stage of sports event communication with the characteristics of wide audience,timely information push,convenient carrying and other characteristics in line with the"humanized trend".under the wraps of the consumer society and the media,the World Cup create the stars and topics continuously as well as create a another carnival,it makes the audience temporarily eliminate individual differences and obtained a temporary and transient pleasure.These typical spectacularizing features are particularly evident in today's content aggregation platforms.However,in this context,excessive entertainment and commercial make sport itself alienation,while generating some negative effects,For example,the spirit of sportsmanship is dissolved,the soaring culture of irrational fans,a nationalist tendencies are evident and so on.This paper takes the spectacular spread of "toutiao" 2018 World Cup report in Russia as the research object,the main research methods of this paper include:documentation method,case analysis,data analysis and other methods.By arranging the "toutiao" reports during the World Cup in Russia.In the process of comparing the relevant reports about the World Cup in Russia released by the new media platform with those of traditional media,This paper analyzes the appeal of spectacle" for the "Large-scale Sports Events" in the new media era,The propagation characteristics,trend and concrete performance of the spectacle.Through the analysis of toutiao Russia World Cup dissemination spectacle"practice,the cause of spectacle and spectacle main body,Moreover,it also deeply explores the suggested approaches for the communication reform of new media for large-scale sports events,so as to provide ideas and references for the communication practice of large-scale sports events and the development and transformation of new media.
