| Since the 1980s,China has entered the fast track of economic development.Hundreds of millions of people poured into the city from the countryside and began to contribute to the economic construction of the motherland.However,due to the restrictions of urban household registration and the lack of income of migrant workers and other reasons,their children were left in their hometown in the countryside,and the fate of countless children who are not yet adults has also changed,becoming the so-called "left behind children".According to 2015 China’s population situation facts and data published by the United Nations: in 2015,the number of left behind children in rural areas in China was 40.51 million,and the problem of left behind has become a widespread social problem.Due to the lack of family structure,the left behind children in rural areas are unable to meet the most basic family needs,and even more difficult to enjoy the fruits of social development.The special family structure of left behind children also brings a series of problems such as safety,education,physical and mental health.At present,scholars at home and abroad mainly focus on the psychological,safety,education,policy and other aspects of left behind children’s sports participation in rural areas.Therefore,this paper takes some left behind children in rural areas of Handan as the object of investigation,uses questionnaire survey,interview and data statistics to investigate the actual situation and participation characteristics of left behind children’s extracurricular sports participation,analyzes the problems and influencing factors of left behind children’s extracurricular sports participation,and provides suggestions for improving left behind children’s extracurricular sports participation,so as to improve left behind children’s extracurricular sports participation Children’s physical and mental health.The conclusion is as follows.Most of the left behind children in Handan rural areas have good physical quality and physical condition,and they also have correct sports cognition;however,the activity of participating in extracurricular sports activities is insufficient,most of the left behind children still have not formed the habit of participating in sports,and some of the left behind children still have deviation in sports value recognition.The left behind children in Handan rural areas are affected by many factors in participating in extracurricular sports;in addition to the objective factors such as the conditions of participation in rural sports,school factors,family environment,etc.,they are also affected by subjective factors such as personal physical quality,sports awareness,etc.;with the development of the Internet,the popularity of mobile games,more left behind children are addicted to mobile phones and online games,so Mobile phones and online games have become new factors that affect some left behind children’s participation in extracurricular sports. |
