According to the curriculum standard for senior high school biology(2017 Edition)(hereinafter referred to as the “new curriculum standard”),the textbook of People's Education Press(hereinafter referred to as the “PEP”)2019 edition has been compiled and published.According to the requirements of the new curriculum standard,a comparative study is made on molecular and cell(compulsory 1)of general high school biology(2019edition and 2007 Edition)issued by the people's Education Press(hereinafter referred to as“new textbooks and old textbooks” respectively),which provides a reference for the revision of textbooks in the future and biology teachers can make better use of new teaching materials and improve teaching quality effectively.Through interviewing with senior high school biology teachers,comparative study of teaching materials,literature research and other methods.Compare and systematic study the four aspects of new and old teaching materials,in the respect of compiling structure,subject knowledge,column setting,illustration drawing and selection.The results show that:(1)In terms of the structure,the new textbook is compiled according to the “course content” sequence of the new curriculum standard.Compared with the old textbook,the setting of the title and content sequence of the new textbook chapters is more in line with the requirements of the new curriculum standard and the cognitive development characteristics of senior high school students,but the structure logic of individual content can be strengthened further.(2)In terms of the knowledge,the new textbook updates some biological concepts and chapter contents through deletion,adjustment and other forms.Pay attention to the understanding and mastery of big concepts by students.Focuses on the core literacy of biology discipline.However the content of social responsibility training is still lacking.(3)In terms of column setting,the new textbook reduces the type and quantity of columns through deletion and integration.The column setting is more accurate.In particular,the evaluation column,highlighting the concept of examination and the content of cultivating students' biological core literacy.It is more in line with the requirements of the curriculum objectives.(4)In terms of the selection and drawing of illustrations,the new textbook is still based on physical drawings,which is more attractive and scientific in terms of layout,clarity,intuition,readability,and so on.It can produce teaching effect better.However,some illustrations need to be beautified and improved further.Combined with the research results and personal understanding,in order to play the role of the new textbook better,it is suggested that:(1)In the future revision of the textbook,we should strengthen the logicality of knowledge further,beautify the layout of illustrations further,and increase the content of social responsibility training appropriately.(2)In the use of the textbook,according to the actual teaching situation,teachers can adjust the teaching sequence of the textbook appropriately,make up for the teaching in the current situation of insufficient content.Biology teachers should strengthen lifelong learning and enrich the reserve of biology related knowledge constantly.(3)When guiding learning,teachers should give full play to the advantages of the new textbook.Teachers guide students to pay attention to the learning mode of combination of picture and text.Teaching students connect the textbook content with real life and make learning practical.Teachers should supplement relevant knowledge points by adding exercises,and so on,which can form and master systematic biological knowledge.
