With the implementation of the new curriculum reform and the promotion of quality-oriented education,education has been constantly reformed.People pay more attention to the development of students’ quality and physical and mental health,which is an excellent thing.Meanwhile,educational punishment has been a common means of education since ancient times.A ferrule has been wielded for thousands of years.Many scholars have discussed the connotation,rationality and implementation of educational punishment.Junior middle school students are in the critical period of physical and mental development,and they are not yet mature physically and mentally,so they cannot control their behaviors effectively.They often violate school and classroom discipline.Some social problems caused by educational punishment have seriously affected the normal conduct of educational activities in junior middle school.In the face of junior high school students’ disciplinary violations,some teachers are unwilling to be responsible in the implementation of educational punishment due to their misunderstanding,wrong management methods,bad emotional impact and public opinion hype.They adopt the practice of indulgent freedom and negative response.Some students refuse to obey management,overstepping or elders,breaks the school education management system,and even cause some bullying and the occurrence of the conflict between teachers and students,the resulting dispute,the serious influence the formation of junior high school students the correct values and good behavior habits,students education management work faces new problems and challenges,deserves our attention.Obviously,educational punishment needs to be clearly defined and dealt with in a scientific way.The legitimacy and rationality of educational punishment have become the focus of people’s attention.The author thinks that educational punishment is one of the necessary educational methods in junior middle school.The reasonable implementation of educational punishment by middle school teachers is conducive to the cultivation of students’ awareness of rules,the formation of awe of the system,the correction of problem behaviors,the formation of good behavior habits and moral concepts,so as to promote the healthy development of students’ physical and mental health.The effective way of educational punishment should be the combination of "strictness" and "love".Based on the investigation and analysis of teachers’ implementation of educational punishment in the class management of four middle schools in Yinchuan city,this paper puts forward the countermeasures and Suggestions for improving the educational punishment,so as to provide certain reference experience for the implementation of educational punishment in similar schools in this region and other regions.This paper is mainly divided into five parts.The first part describes the issue,research purpose,research significance and research trends of educational punishment at home and abroad.The second part,on the basis of referring to the current domestic and foreign research trends on this issue,defines and analyzes the concept of educational punishment,and distinguishes the concepts of educational punishment,corporal punishment and disguised corporal punishment.The third part is the research design of this paper,which investigates the situation of teacher education punishment in the class management of four middle schools in Yinchuan city,and analyzes it from three aspects of cognition,practice and evaluation.The fourth part analyzes the current situation of the implementation of educational punishment in the current class management process,and finds that there are some problems in the implementation of educational punishment by teachers in four middle schools in Yinchuan city,such as insufficient understanding,unreasonable punishment method and poor punishment effect.The fifth part puts forward Suggestions for junior middle school teachers to implement educational punishment,optimize the punishment method,and improve the efficiency of class management.
