Today,the population is aging and the family is small.Today,families with special elderly people,such as disabled,demented,sick,and elderly,often bear the main responsibility for care.The daily pressure of care makes the caregiver overwhelmed.The problem of caring for the elderly is not only a severe challenge for individuals and families,but also a great problem for society.How to give special elderly caregivers respite? At present,respite service is a common social service in foreign countries and Hong Kong and Taiwan regions.However,it is still a new term in the field of the elderly in China's late start.As we know,gradually entering the public's vision,it is considered as an important part of the elderly care system,which can help special elderly family caregivers effectively relieve physical and mental stress,enhance caregivers 'social support,and improve caregivers' care Knowledge and skills to meet their emotional needs and have long-term support for special elderly people and their caregivers.However,because of China's national conditions,funding,and personnel,respite services have not been fully promoted in China,and development will face many difficulties.Therefore,there is still a need for continuous practical exploration of caregiver intervention for special elderly caregivers.The thesis consists of six parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the background,purpose and significance of the research,reviews relevant literature at home and abroad,and conducts research design.The second part analyzes the need for respite services for special caregivers under the theory of social support.The third part introduces the practical intervention of respite service for special elderly caregivers under the theory of social support.It mainly analyzes and summarizes from the three aspects of project goal setting,service intervention plan and service implementation process.The fourth part evaluates the effectiveness of respite service for special elderly caregivers under the theory of social support.The fifth part is the reflection on the respite service of special elderly caregivers under the theory of social support.It analyzes the obstacle factors of respite service intervention in special elderly caregivers from the form of formal support and informal support,and then proposes the promotion of special elderly caregivers accordingly.Suggestions on the development of respite service.The sixth part is the conclusion,which summarizes and prospects the full text.The study found that the needs of special elderly caregivers in the S community are mainly the lack of social support systems,which are mainly manifested in the lack of emotional support,cognitive support and behavioral support.In order to meet the needs of special elderlycaregivers,the study found that the feasibility of respite service for special elderly caregivers in S community is to build a social support system.Based on the social support network,the respite service has achieved the following goals: to help special caregivers relieve stress and strengthen With peer support,mastering certain care knowledge and skills,improving self-worth,and developing a volunteer team for the elderly,in addition,the development of respite services has different impacts on groups,communities and community levels.However,there are obstacles to respite service intervention for special elderly caregivers.Formal support includes government and community,and informal support includes relatives.Neighborhoods and social organizations.The following suggestions are put forward in view of the existing obstacles:a policy guarantee system;increased government purchase;the establishment of a professional team;a good fashion;the integration of social resources,etc.
