Because of certain physical or mental development lag, family caregivers of special children to take care of the children to pay more time and effort, serious load to the caregiver’s physical and mental, social interaction, etc. these family caregivers in a situation of long-term physical and mental resources have been consumed in its various balance is constantly breaking down, caregivers feel tired and fatigue, the emergence of various psychological crisis, and even some family caregivers to take some extreme measures to face life.Care burnout is an important focus in the family psychology of foreign countries,and it provides a good perspective for the study of the mental health of special children and their family caregivers, At present, Chinese scholars focus on the study of the job burnout of nursing staff in hospitals and rehabilitation institutions and special education school teachers, There is little research on the care burnout of family caregivers of special children. In fact, obviously different from the professional nurses and teachers, family caregiver and special children have more close contact and attachment, and this will in a large extent lead to emotional exhaustion and care burnout. According to the previous studies in foreign countries, it has been found that the caregiver burden and social support are the corresponding predictors in the influence factors of the care burnout. So in this study, we take the family caregivers of special children as research subjects, focus on care burnout, combined with the other two factors of Caregiver burden and Social support, investigation the internal relationship among the three factors. This study can make up the domestic study deficiencies in this aspect, enrich the relevant content of special children’ s family research, but also provide empirical support for the intervention of special children’ s parents or family in the future.The research of this study found:(1)Care burnout of family caregivers of special children each dimension score from high to low in turn is emotional exhaustion, low accomplishment and depersonalization.(2)Emotional exhaustion of family caregivers of special children have significant differences in the child sex、in the disabilities category 、family caregiver’s age;Low accomplishment of family caregivers of special children have significant differences in the age of the child and family caregivers occupation,;Depersonalization of family caregivers of special children has significant differences in the disabilities category;Care burnout of family caregivers of special children have significant differences in the child sex。(3)Caregiver burden of family caregivers of special children each dimension score from high to low in turn is time-dependent burden,Developmental burden Physiological burden, emotional burden, social burden.(4)Physiological burden and emotional burden of family caregivers of special children have significant differences in the disabilities category;Developmental burden of family caregivers of special children have significant differences in the child sex、in whether it’s the only child、in the age of the child;social burden of family caregivers of special children have significant differences whether it’s the only child;Time-dependent burden of family caregivers of special children have significant differences in the age of the child、in the disabilities category、in the relationship with the child、family caregivers age,、occupation and monthly income;Caregiver burden of family caregivers of special children have significant differences in the child sex 、whether it’s the only child、in the child sex、in the disabilities category、in the degree of disability。(5)Social support of family caregivers of special children each dimension score from high to low in turn is Emotional Support, Instrumental support, Informational support.(6)Informational support of family caregivers of special children has significant differences in whether it’s the only child, the disabilities category, the degree of disability, monthly income; Instrumental support of family caregivers of special children has significant differences in the age of the child;Social support and there dimensions of family caregivers of special children have significant differences in family caregiver’s occupation.(7)Care burnout and depersonalization of family caregivers of special children is positively related to Physiological burden, emotional burden, Developmental burden,social burden and Caregiver burden. Emotional exhaustion has a positively related to Caregiver burden and all five dimensions. Low accomplishment is positively related to emotional burden, and also has a negatively related to time-dependent burden.(8)Care burnout of family caregivers of special children is negatively related to Emotional Support, Instrumental support and social support. Emotional exhaustion,Low accomplishment has a negatively related to social support and all there dimensions. Depersonalization is positively related to social support and all there dimensions.(9)Caregiver burden of family caregivers of special children is negatively related to Instrumental support. Developmental burden have a negatively related to social support and all there dimensions. time-dependent burden is positively related to Emotional Support.
