"Newspaper reporters also have modern history." Modern newspapers,with their swift news reporting,rich and diverse content,and meticulous and continuous features,have extremely high historical value in the study of modern Chinese history.Accordingly,newspapers and periodicals are used in high school history courses in China.The part of modern history has extremely high teaching value.With the invention and development of modern typography,ships,trains and other means of transportation,as well as the development of postal and telegraphs,modern society has spawned a new mass media,the newspaper.Protestant missionaries came to China and introduced them to China.After years of collision and integration,newspapers and periodicals have changed and shaped modern Chinese subject knowledge and people's lifestyles.Correspondingly,modern history is deeply embedded in newspapers and periodicals.Word by sentence,picture by picture.As a carrier of news information,modern newspapers and periodicals record various corners of social life from multiple aspects and different angles.The evolution of the political system,the change of material life,and the innovation of ideological,cultural,and customary habits are not only the great achievements of the emperor,but also Ordinary people's life trivia can be found in newspapers and periodicals,like a static historical image,miniature and composed of a multi-dimensional historical record book.The introduction of high school history courses in newspapers and periodicals is conducive to innovating classroom teaching,improving students' thinking ability,and then exerting the social function of history education.Through literature research,comparative statistical analysis,and classroom teaching practice,this article uses modern newspapers as the research foundation to find effective ways to introduce middle school history teaching for newspapers and periodicals.The full text is divided into four parts:the first part is the introduction part,starting from the connection between the history of newspapers and history,explaining the reason for choosing the topic,the research status and significance of the research;the second part,the connotation and characteristics of modern Chinese newspapers and periodicals,and Refine the basic types of modern newspapers and magazines;the third part is based on the 2019 edition of the senior high school history textbook Chinese andForeign History Outline(volume 1)as the research object,compared with the old Yuelu,People,and People Education three editions of history textbooks,presented in chart form And do a brief data analysis to show the use of newspaper materials in historical textbooks;The fourth part,through questionnaire surveys and interview records,studies the current application of modern newspapers in high school history teaching,referring to existing teaching problems;The fifth part,combined with classroom teaching observation and practice,puts forward the principles for the use of newspapers and periodicals in high school history teaching,using digital resources,designing classroom teaching,and intercepting teaching fragments,and retrieves,collects,organizes,analyzes,internalizes,etc.the newspapers and periodicals.In terms of layers,we proceeded from layer to layer,starting from teachers' consciousness of preparing lessons and specific operations in the course of preparing lessons,and put forward reasonable opinions on how to better introduce newspapers and periodicals in high school history teaching.
