| In basic education,"meeting parents" regarded as a direct form of home-school communication plays an important role in promoting the physical and mental health development of students.Nowadays,the traditional judgment criterions and methods of"meeting parents" are not suitable for primary and secondary school teachers.In order to improve the effectiveness of "meeting parents" the research contents are summarized as follows:To know more about the current situations of "meeting parents",the first research adopted the method of documentary and interview.The author collected and sorted out the scenes in which teachers invited parents,and concluded that the reasons for teachers to invite parents were mainly divided into three aspects of students:study,morality,and body-mind.Then the questionnaire survey was conducted.Results showed that more than 90%of teachers may choose to "meet parents",in case of unexpected incidents,such as physical injuries and fights of students.The effect of "meeting parents" is not apparent in case of some stable problems,such as the learning branch of students."Meeting parents"is significant effective in case of moral problems,while it is controversial in case of careless in class,homework plagiarism and intelligence problems.On the whole,the uncertainty of "meeting parents" in case of studying problems are relatively larger than moral and body-mind problems.The overall effect is also relatively poor.In order to promote effective communication between teachers and parents in the process of "meeting parents",the second research adopted the method of documentary and case study.The author conducted the in-depth interviews with teachers and parents.The problems and factors in the process of "meeting parents" were analyzed.The countermeasures from the perspective of teachers to "meeting parents" were thus proposed.This includes making communication plans and discussing solutions to students’ problems,using communication skills,and enriching the contents and forms of communication. |
