China has always attached great importance to Chinese teaching.On the one hand,because Chinese is the only course in the basic education stage that uses language and characters as its main feature,its unique instrumentality makes Chinese have a role in promoting the learning of other courses.On the other hand,Chinese curriculum must provide students with native language education with Chinese characteristics to enhance the soft power of national cultural development.In addition to teachers and teaching methods,textbooks are an indispensable part of Chinese curriculum.However,the current research on high school Chinese textbooks is not deep enough.And the perspective is relatively single.Based on the corpus method,it can enrich the previous research on high school Chinese textbooks from a qualitative perspective.From the perspective of computational linguistics,the majority of vocabulary used in textbooks are commonly used words,and the proportion of hapax is small,which is more suitable for the learning situation of most students.Less use of new words closely related to the current social life,reflecting that the contemporary of the selected essays is somewhat inadequate.In terms of words and sentences,the characteristics of various types of texts are relatively prominent and very regular,and they are distributed into textbooks,making the characteristics of words and sentences in each volume different.In terms of changes in the average word length and average sentence length of each textbook,the textbooks are not strictly organized according to the principle from easy to difficult.In terms of overall arrangement,the selected text did not completely cover the learning task group proposed in the General Senior High School Chinese Curriculum Standard(2017 edition).Aiming at these shortcomings,some suggestions have been made on the compilation of textbooks in terms of the difficulty,content and structure of the textbooks,and they also have some enlightenment on Chinese teaching.The aim is to provide a new research method and perspective for the study of high school Chinese textbooks through quantitative analysis of the language of high school Chinese textbooks,and to provide a little reference for Chinese textbook compilation and teaching activities.
