The textbook reform is an important aspect of the basic education curriculum reform,and the difficulty is the main part of the textbook.Grasping the teaching difficulty effectively is the key work in new curriculum reform.The content of “statistics and probability” is being paid more and more attention in the present day,and it occupies an important position in the mathematics teaching in junior high school.There are many differences existed in different textbooks.Such as it's breadth,depth,and the difficulty of the problems,etc.So it is needed to comparative their difficulty deeply.Select mathematics textbooks among of the people's education publishing house,Shandong education publishing house and Shanghai education publishing house under four years' educational system in junior high school.Analyze the degree or class difficulty and the degree of math problem difficulty quantitatively.Compare the differences between different teaching material version,provide advises and basis for the writing of the textbooks and teachers' teaching decisions,etc.For the degree of class difficulty,the conclusion is: the highest one is the people's education publishing house textbooks,the second one is the Shandong education publishing house textbooks,the third one is the Shanghai education publishing house textbooks and the last one is “class standard”.About the degree of math exercises difficulty,we draw the conclusion: the Shandong education publishing house textbooks are higher than the other two versions in the “background,operation,reasoning” three factors,while people's education publishing house textbooks are higher than the other two versions in the “inquiry and knowledge quantity” two factors.Overall,the degree of difficulty about Shanghai education publishing house textbooks is the lowest.Finally,we analyze each textbooks of the teaching situation and put forward the corresponding optimization for textbook compilation and teachers' teaching.Textbooks for Shanghai education publishing house,the main existing problems is less of class hour,and it's math exercises are short of life background.So it should be emphatically from these two aspects.To the Shandong education publishing house,the main problems is the much too math exercises.So it should select the typical subject for students to practice.In addition,it's knowledge content is less than others and it is not conducive to students for complete knowledge structure.So it should improve the knowledge content.To the people's education publishing house textbooks,the biggest features of it is the two large amount of time,it can easily cause the time inefficient.So it should shorten it's class time,or process knowledge effectively.
