At present,STEM education is getting more and more attention.In the future,it will become the development trend of talent education in each country around the world.In China,STEM education has been rapidly developed in primary and secondary schools across the country,and its purpose is to integrate various disciplines,which can cultivate students' ability to find and solve problems,practical skills,and teamwork spirit.As mentioned in the optional compulsory module 6 of the General Senior High School Information Technology Curriculum Standard,the use of the design and development of open-source hardware in information technology courses combined with STEM education(science,technology,engineering and mathematics)can also stimulate Students 'interest in innovation and foster students' comprehensive practical ability.The research for this thesis includes designing classroom projects based on the Arduino open-source hardware platform,and using STEM education mode for teaching so as to improve students' comprehensive ability.It can be seen that the combination of Arduino courses with STEM education is of practical significance.Regarding the content of this paper,firstly,construct the Arduino curriculum teaching mode based on the STEM concept;then design the high school Arduino curriculum teaching project case based on the STEM concept;and finally develop the Arduino curriculum teaching practice based on the STEM concept,and verify that the designed teaching mode is applied to The feasibility and effectiveness of Arduino courses for practical teaching.This study combs the research status of STEM education and Arduino teaching at home and abroad through the literature method;then the pre-design test papers were used to investigate and teach students about the Arduino courses;The teaching experiment is carried out in the class.The teaching content of the two classes is the same.The difference is the teaching method.The traditional teaching method is used in the control class.Teaching based on the concept of STEM helps to improve students' academic performance,and its effect is better than the teaching effect of traditional teaching methods;at the same time,after analyzing the situation of students completing projects in the classroom,it is concluded that the teaching ofArduino courses based on the concept of STEM is helpful Students 'enthusiasm for participating in the classroom,help to improve students' hands-on practical ability,unity and collaboration ability and problem-solving ability.Finally,through the data analysis of the student's test scores and satisfaction questionnaire,it is verified that the application of the STEM concept to the Arduino course has certain validity and feasibility.
