Research On The Consciousness Of Chinese Nation Community Among College Students In Beijing In The New Era

College students in Beijing are an important and special group,especially students from different ethnic groups who are currently studying in institutions of advanced education in Beijing.As the university students in Beijing are from many ethnic groups in our country,in the new era of social background,how to promote the unity and progress of students from all ethnic groups and consolidate their consciousness of Chinese ethnic community has become a major practical problem facing the universities in Beijing,and also an important subject for the deep research on ideological and political education of university students in the capital in the new era.In recent years,a series of educational and teaching activities have been carried out in colleges and universities in Beijing,and good results have been achieved in consolidating the consciousness of Chinese ethnic community among college students:the remarkable increase of college students’ consciousness of Chinese ethnic community,the communication and integration between students of different ethnic groups are increasingly frequent and deep,but also a large number of exemplary figures of patriotic dedication and ethnic unity and progress have emerged,and so on.But at the same time,Beijing universities are still facing severe problems and challenges in consolidating the consciousness of Chinese ethnic community among college students:First,some Han students have no rational understanding of China’s multi-ethnic national conditions,cannot deeply understand the relationship between ethnic minorities and han compatriots,and cannot put the consciousness of safeguarding ethnic unity and progress into action;Second,some colleges and universities pay insufficient attention to the consciousness of Chinese ethnic community for college students,and the relevant courses in schools are relatively deficient,with a single form of education and few educational and publicity activities.Third,due to their weak will,some ethnic minority students are vulnerable to the infiltration and influence of"network nationalism",and thus produce thoughts and deeds that are not conducive to national unity.If we can’t correctly understand these problems and challenges,and left unchecked,it will affect the overall effect of the Chinese community consciousness and ideological and political education of college students in Beijing,thus posing a threat to the campus security of Beijing colleges and universities and the development and stability of the capital society.In view of this,the paper finally puts forward that Beijing universities must stick to the theme of "The Chinese nation is one family,and build the Chinese dream together" in the new era,keep in mind the fundamental purpose of "cultivating people by morality education",and consolidate the consciousness of Chinese ethnic community among college students from the following four aspects:First,the university leaders should improve the political position and attach importance to the consciousness education of Chinese ethnic community among college students;Second,we should actively create favorable conditions to promote exchanges and cooperation between different universities in the capital;Third,we should make good use of new media technology and promote the publicity and education of ethnic unity and progress in Colleges and universities in Beijing;Finally,it is necessary to stimulate the students’ subjective initiative and give full play to the main role of college students in consolidating the consciousness of the Chinese ethnic community.
