Abstract/Summary:
Evaluation of ideological and political education in colleges and universities is the process of conducting value judgment on the current situation of ideological and political education in colleges and universities according to the goal requirements of ideological and political education.In the history of ideological and political education evaluation in colleges and universities,with the increasing demand for scientific education management,from empirical judgment based on subjective feeling to standardized test based on scientific empirical evidence,the scientific and normative nature of evaluation has been increasingly enhanced,and the experience accumulation and theoretical understanding of evaluation have been increasingly enriched.From this,it is not difficult to find that a core thread of critiquing subjective experience runs through the discussion on evaluation concept,evaluation process and evaluation results,thus continuously promoting the evaluation of ideological and political education in colleges and universities towards objectivity and the continuous improvement of the effectiveness of ideological and political education in colleges and universities.The value orientation and basic logic of ideological and political education evaluation in colleges and universities are gradually unfolded along with the development history of ideological and political education in colleges and universities,from factual judgment to value judgment,from using education evaluation as a management tool to implementing the fundamental task of building moral character as the orientation.However,at the same time,on the one hand,the new environment and conditions keep putting forward new requirements for the evaluation of ideological and political education in colleges and universities,and on the other hand,the dilemmas of the original evaluation are becoming more and more prominent,especially the deficiencies in the areas of evaluation orientation,evaluation process and evaluation results,which present us the problem of how to further think about the reconstruction of evaluation concepts and actions.Thus,based on the real situation of the new era,to crack the current dilemma faced by the evaluation of ideological and political education in colleges and universities,to optimize the evaluation of ideological and political education in colleges and universities according to the realistic context and practical requirements of the new era,is an urgent problem to be solved in the study of ideological and political education evaluation in colleges and universities.From the theory of "evaluation",it is the theoretical basis of this study to find out the ideological origin of the evaluation of ideological and political education in colleges and universities and to reveal its basic connotation.To examine the time of ideological and political education evaluation in colleges and universities from history and reality,to summarize historical achievements and experiences,to identify problems and analyze the causes,is the realistic foundation of this study.The research on the evaluation of ideological and political education in universities in the new era is not only oriented to the consolidation of basic theories,but also faces the innovation at the level of ideology,which is a comprehensive and systematic presentation in the fields of evaluation orientation,evaluation content,evaluation indexes and evaluation methods.Therefore,it is necessary for us to face the problems and shortcomings in this field based on the basic national conditions,the existing practice development and research foundation,and put forward ideas and directions for the evaluation of ideological and political education in the new era,so as to better play its nurturing value of "cultivating roots and casting souls".Using literature research method,systematic analysis method,logical and historical method and questionnaire survey method,this research systematically compares the connotation and characteristics,history and reality,effectiveness and problems,situation and changes of ideological and political education evaluation in colleges and universities according to the research idea of "theory and practice-reflection and criticism-innovation and development".First,to clarify the basic theory of ideological and political education evaluation in colleges and universities and the progression of its development.From the rich connotation of "evaluation",we have sorted out the factual judgment and value judgment and their positions in the development and evolution of evaluation;we have sorted out the positions occupied by educational evaluation in talent selection,scientific management,talent cultivation and human development;we have sorted out the evaluation of ideological and political education in colleges and universities gradually formed in the development and evolution of the evaluation criteria based on the needs of people and society,the evaluation contents based on the performance of duties and responsibilities of the party committee,the establishment of moral education in schools,the teaching and education of teachers,the growth and development of students and the selection and employment of society,the use of multiple evaluation methods and techniques to determine the value of ideological and political education in colleges and universities,and the situation in guiding educational behaviors to meet the trends and requirements of students’ growth and development and social progress.Secondly,the construction effectiveness,experience revelation and practical problems of ideological and political education evaluation in colleges and universities are analyzed from the historical perspective analysis.The evaluation of ideological and political education in colleges and universities has gone through the development process of starting and exploration,construction and standardization,deepening and quality improvement,continuously deepening theoretical understanding,forming institutional requirements,and gradually accumulating experience in value orientation,organization and implementation,and application of results.However,there are also many problems such as utilitarianization of evaluation orientation,decentralization of evaluation process and blurring of evaluation results,which need to be addressed in depth to better meet the needs of the times.Finally,from the current problems and realistic conditions,the path to optimize the evaluation of ideological and political education in the new era is proposed.This study starts from the general environment of ideological and political education evaluation in colleges and universities in the new era,faces the strategic overall situation of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and the unprecedented changes in the world in a century,stands from the perspective of strengthening education governance and promoting education modernization,puts forward the importance of further understanding the domestic and international situation and seizing historical opportunities,proposes the new mission that ideological and political education evaluation in colleges and universities should better implement the fundamental task of establishing moral education,puts forward the evaluation path of clarifying target principles,improving evaluation contents,optimizing evaluation indexes and improving evaluation methods,and responds to and answers the new problems and requirements faced in the field of ideological and political education evaluation in colleges and universities at present.
