The "V to NP heads" construction is used frequently and has obvious pragmatic characteristics,which can improve the authenticity of Chinese as a second language learner.This article uses cognitive construction theory to analyze the "V to NP head on" construction from three aspects: grammar,semantics and pragmatics,and design a teaching plan.This article mainly includes following five parts:In the exordium part,we mainly sort out the background and development genre of construction theory,the research results of domestic and foreign scholars,the related research of "V to NP head" and the theory of "construction-chunk",etc.,and explain the research value of construction and Research space.In the first chapter,we judged the construction of "V to NP head" and analyzed the construction components.On the one hand,based on Goldberg's definition of construction,we judged that "V to NP head on" is a marked construction from the combination of form and meaning,unspeculability,and frequency of use.On the other hand,the structural components of "V to NP head" are analyzed.The constants "to" and"tou" have different degrees of blurring.To" is the auxiliary word,"tou" means the end of displacement,and refers to the preceding "NP".The variable "V" has many monosyllable verbs,and action verbs occupy the main body.And it has displacement meaning and negative meaning,strong colloquialism;the variable "NP" is mainly composed of pronouns,nouns and nominal phrases,and has the semantic characteristics of [+Social] and [+relatively weak].In the second chapter,we explored the grammatical and semantic functions of the"V to NP head" construction.In terms of grammar,the "V to NP head on" construction is mainly located at the end of the sentence as a predicate.In terms of semantics,"V"represents action behavior,and "NP head on" represents a concrete place of abstract meaning.The overall meaning represents the abstract displacement of the action behavior or the object of the action behavior,which highlights the adverse effects on the parties and derives derogatory effects.Emotional meaning;the construction suppresses the subjectivity and meaning of lexical items: first,the action verbs that enter the construction and bear the objective expression appear derogatory,and second,the non-displacement verbs are combined with "to" to form" The structure of "V to"has the nature of displacement;the construction of "V to NP heads" also has a rationale:the variables "V" and "N" and the invariants "to..." are metaphorically mapped on the synchronic level.,The integration space is compressed into "V to NP heads";on the diachronic level,the derogatory emotional meaning of the "V to NP heads" construction is the result of the interaction of internal and external contexts,cases,and class frequencies.But it has not yet achieved complete specification.In the third chapter,we analyze the pragmatic function of the "V to NP head" construction.We first analyzed the strong subjectivity of the "V to NP head" construction from the perspective of the speaker,emotion and cognition,and found that the construction has an empathy effect-the speaker treats the emotions of the "self" in reality,Attitudes and cognition are transferred to the party "NP" in the "V to NP head" construction.Based on this,we analyzed the contextual appropriateness and pragmatic function of the construction,and found that for one thing,the construction caters to people's negative psychological expression needs in daily life,and for another,it can convey focal information and make discourse cohesion.Natural and semantically coherent.In the fourth chapter,we use the "construction-chunk" teaching method to design the "V to NP head" construction,and put forward targeted teaching suggestions.We closely focus on the construction meaning of "V to NP heads" and establish a block chain of "V to NP heads" to guide students to comprehend the pragmatic meaning of constructions and master its usage in examples.It also puts forward two teaching suggestions focusing on the integration of form and meaning and creating a typical context.
