| Nowadays,with the brisk development of private education,the improvement of the quality of private education teachers has become an important subject for promoting the development of private school and the quality of private school education.School-based training is an effective training method of fast-increasing teachers’ quality.This research investigates the current situation of the school-based training for English teachers in H City’s private primary schools.A total of 59 questionnaires were distributed to survey English teachers in private elementary schools in H City,and all of them were returned.Using a combined method of questionnaire survey and interview survey,four aspects issues of the school-based training for English subject in H city’s private primary schools are found : The training contents are relatively general,school and the teachers have an indistinct understanding of the school-based training,the training approaches are limited,the training effect is poor.Attribution analysis is carried out for the exposed problems of the school-based English training in H city’s private primary schools.The reasons come from four aspects: the complex requirement of the training,the not-so-high teachers’ comprehensive quality,the lack of resources for the school-based training,the imperfect management system of the school-based training.This research puts forward countermeasure and suggestions on the four aspects: the school-based training contents,the training concept,the training approaches,and a sound security system,hoping to achieve the purpose of promoting the professional development of English teachers and the efficiency of the English subject school-based training in private primary schools. |
