Research On The Evaluation Meaning Of WeChat Public Account Discourse In Colleges And Universities From A Multimodal Perspective

University We Chat Official Account has become the main form of campus media,playing a critical role in establishing the images of Universities and connecting with teachers and students.At present,there are few researchers focusing on the discourse of University We Chat Official Account,and related researches are about register and genre studies,few of them involving appraisal meanings.From the perspective of multimodality,this thesis selects 60 discourses from top five universities on the National Comprehensive Influence Ranking of University Official We Chat Account as the corpora,studying its appraisal meanings from two aspects--language mode and image mode,and tries to explore the way to realize appraisal meanings.This research attempts to analyze the composition mode and distribution characteristics of appraisal meanings in We Chat official account.It will provide new insights into the appraisal meaning research and provide a new perspective for individuals to understand and compose articles of University We Chat Official Account.
