Debussy is a great French impressionist composer.Bergamo Suite is the representative work of Debussy's early piano music. It not only has the traces of traditional music such as polyphonics, but also has the characteristics of modern music, showing some representative styles of Debussy's early impressionism.Debussy created his own unique artistic style with his forward-looking perspective and explorative musical vocabulary. The succinct three-part musical structure, the free change of tonality and the breaking of the traditional harmony configuration, all the characteristics of its early music are concentrated in The Bergamo Suite, especially the application of parallel chords, middle ancient mode and pentatonic scale in the work, forming a strong Oriental color. In this paper, the creation background, music ontology analysis, artistic characteristics and performance techniques of the works are described, hoping to explore the causes and changes of the impressionist music style of Debussy through the overall analysis of this early piano work,so as to make a better interpretation for the performance.
