Emotional expression refers to the process of using emotional words, sentences, texts and other means to express various emotional tendencies. In verbal communication, people usually express their own emotions.Elementary Chinese learners have a limited level and tend to use simple and direct vocabulary and sentence patterns that are mostly used in the oral environment to express emotions. With the improvement of Chinese learners' level, the need for emotional expression is becoming stronger, the content is more diverse, and it is necessary to adapt to the different scenarios of spoken and written language, and the language must meet the requirements of appropriateness and accuracy.Among all kinds of emotions, negative emotions are emotional tendencies with negative and degrading colors. They are expressed in a euphemistic and tortuous way in actual verbal communication activities, which increases the difficulty for Chinese learners to master the expression of negative emotions. Therefore, this article attempts to classify and quantify the negative emotion expression of Chinese learners from the vocabulary, grammar, and text levels, and summarize the common problems in the negative emotion expression of Chinese learners. The thesis comprehensively uses theoretical research and quantitative analysis methods to classify and analyze the emotional biases of Chinese learners. This article collected 1054 commonly used negative emotion words from the sentiment dictionary, and typed these negative sentiment words into HSK dynamic composition corpus version 2.0 for retrieval.Among them, there are a total of 317 negative sentiment words in the search results. These words will be our target vocabulary.research.At the same time, the search results were summarized, and a total of 20,214 sentences(about 390,000 words)containing negative emotional expressions were collected. After analyzing each sentence sentence by sentence,a total of 1416 sentences with negative emotion expression errors were finally extracted. On the basis of finishing data sorting,we carried out corresponding statistical analysis.Comparing and analyzing sentiment words and HSK vocabulary syllabus,we found that as the vocabulary level increases, the number of sentences that learners use sentiment words decreases, and the error rate increases. The two are inversely proportional.Among them, the number of negative sentiment words at level 6 is the most, and the sentences are biased. The error rate is the highest, and the number of sentences using the fourth-level negative emotion words is the highest. The thesis explored the relationship between negative emotion expression errors and HSK test composition scores, and found that negative emotion expression can reflect learners'insufficient language skills. The scores of sentences with emotional expression errors focus on 60-75 points. From the perspective of error types, learners at all language levels have experienced emotional expression errors.Among them, emotional words account for 70%of the errors, grammatical errors are the second, accounting for 16.46%,and the rest of the error type sentences The number is close and small. On the whole,it is difficult to express negative emotions in Chinese, and Chinese learners have great deficiencies in the number, richness and specific types of negative emotion words. After analyzing the overall situation of emotional expression, the thesis starts from the language level and classifies negative emotional expression errors into five categories, including emotional words, sentences, grammar, style, and text, and fourteen types of errors, combined with typical The example sentences of the qualitative analysis of the wrong sentences were carried out.Based on the results of the investigation of negative emotional expression,we discussed the causes of errors from three perspectives:emotional expression themselves, teachers and textbooks, and learners themselves, and proposed corresponding countermeasures.
