Based on the study of the primary Chinese learners at the Confucius Institute of the Free International University of Moldova,this paper collates the students’ daily work,examination papers and the reading and writing errors in the classroom.Combined with the syllabus of the new HSK1-3 level vocabulary grade and the teaching materials used in Confucius Institute,61 groups of characters are sorted out,a questionnaire is designed from the perspective of individuality to generality,and 30 primary students are selected to investigate and test to find out whether there are errors in reading and writing in other primary students.Taking interview method,empirical research method,statistical analysis method and investigation method as the research methods,the types of students’ near-character errors in the primary stage are statistically sorted out.From the characteristics of Chinese characters and teachers’ teaching methods,students’ learning strategies and the curriculum of Chinese characters in Confucius Institute,this paper analyzes the causes of errors in reading and writing of students in the primary stage of Moldova.Finally,according to the causes of errors,and according to the author’s daily teaching experience,the author puts forward the specific teaching methods in the teaching of single-shaped and combined-shaped characters.The innovation of this paper lies in: mastering the first-hand corpus of students’ reading and writing errors in the primary stage of Moldova through personal practice,and narrowing the research scope of form and near word,only for Chinese learners in specific countries and specific Chinese level.It is helpful to solve the teaching problem of form and near word in primary stage,to improve their teaching method and to improve teaching level.
