| The original text of this report is part of Kansas Intoxicating Liquors and Beverages Act,promulgated by Kansas government in USA,which stipulates the rules related to manufacturing intoxicating liquors and beverages.The corresponding translation methods are suggested in this report,after the features of the original text and difficult expressions are analyzed.From the perspective of negative sentences,parallel structures and co-hyponym,the author proposes two translation strategies for negative sentences,namely,tone shifting and focus shifting;two translation strategies for parallel structures,namely,subject-predicate repetition and general-word addition;and two translation strategies for co-hyponym,namely,modification and explanation.This translation report is to provide a reference for the translation of legal translation. |
