Research On Japanese Translation Of Political Documents From The Perspective Of Functional Translation Theory

This dissertation focuses on Secure a Decisive Victory in Building a Moderately Prosperous Society in All Respects and Strive for the Great Success of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era delivered by Xi Jinping(hereinafter referred as19 th CPC report)under the guidance of Functional Translation Theory,analyzing the factors that influencing the translation strategies in the Chinese-Japanese translation of political documents from the perspective of cross-cultural communication.Functional Translation Theory regards translation as an intercultural communication activity,and so does the translation of political documents.In order to realize the translation purpose and the premium communicative effects,it is necessary to analyze the factors that influencing the translation process while from the perspective of the cross-cultural communication is requiring more attention,especially the Chinese-Japanese translation of political documents.This dissertation focuses on two dimensions of the Japanese version 19 th CPC report and discusses the translation strategies in the light of Skopos Theory.Then concluding that the translation model with Foreignization as the main strategy and Domestication as the supplement,and great attention should be paid to the difference between the language and the culture from the intercultural communication perspective.
