This paper is based on the English-Chinese translation practice of High-Impact Educational Practices published by the Association of American Universities.The original text mainly introduces ten kinds of high-impact education practices under the concept of the liberal education curriculum,advocating all kinds of schools to popularize high-impact education practices,so that every student can participate in them.To ensure the equivalent transmission of the original text,the author takes the strategy of explicitation as a guide to deal with difficulties of words,sentences and discourse translation,and summarizes the translation methods on the basis of specific cases,including adding tense and number maker,expressing implicit information directly,adjusting the sentence structure and expressing implicit logical connection,which can provide reference for educational text translation.
