This report is based on the third Harbin Russia-China Cultural and Art Exchange Week 2019,which was attended by the writer on August 19,2019.The content covers the consecutive interpretation of the concert and guitar session and escort interpretation for famous Finnish female singer Mariko Pajalahti and ukulele musician Jarmo Julkunen's as well as the director of guitar session throughout the art exchange week.Afterwards,the writer collated,analyzed and summarized the corpus of the entire process of interpreting practice.Firstly,this report describes the interpretation task,including the background of the interpretation task,the characteristics of the interpretation task and the requirements of the client for the interpreter.Then the writer gives a detailed description of the interpretation process,including pre-translation preparation,brief introduction to the interpretation process and post-translation evaluation.After that,the writer analyzes the problems of missing and mistranslation caused by interpretation of musical technical terms,which can be solved by transliteration,provincial translation and guessing the meaning of words according to the context;hearing problems caused by Finnish English accent,which can be solved by using inference from the context and accumulating English phonetic variations;and long and difficult sentence translation problems,which can be solved by information recombination and resolution.Finally,through the analysis and summary of this task,the writer puts forward some inspirations for the future work of interpretation in order to provide references for other interpreters to carry out similar interpretation practice and make contributions to the study of interpretation practice.
