| ObjectiveTo observe the difference of curative effect between meridian dredges acupuncture and conventional acupuncture in treating cervical spondylotic radiculopathy,and to provide clinical basis for treating cervical spondylotic radiculopathy with meridian dredges acupuncture.Methods60 patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy diagnosed in the Acupuncture Department of the Third Affiliated Hospital of Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Jiutai District Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic of Changchun City,Jilin Province were enrolled.According to the order of visits,the patients were selected according to the order of 60 random numbers,numbered 1-60,even-numbered patients were the conventional acupuncture group,that is,the control group(n=30 cases),and odd-numbered patients were meridian dredges acupuncture group,that is,the treatment group(n=30 cases)In the control group,Baihui,acupoint(corresponding segment of lesion),Tianzhu(bilateral),Fengchi(bilateral)and Hanging Bell(bilateral)were selected for routine acupuncture treatment.In the treatment group,meridian dredges acupuncture was used for acupuncture treatment,that is,acupoint of Jiquan was added to the control group.According to the research plan,both groups adopted the manipulation of reinforcing and relieving diarrhea,giving the needle once a day,leaving the needle for 30 minutes,one week as a course of treatment,one day off for each course of treatment,and four courses of treatment in total.Visual Analogue Scale,VAS)and Japanese Orthopaedic Association were compared between the two groups before the start of the first course of treatment and after the end of the fourth course of treatment.Finally,the above scales were statistically analyzed to compare the differences of clinical efficacy between the two groups.Results1.General data analysis:Before treatment,the data of age,sex and course of disease of the two groups were sorted and analyzed by statistical methods.The results showed that there was no statistical difference between the general data of the two groups(P>0.05),which was comparable.2.Observation of curative effect:The VAS score and Tanaka Yasuhisa Cervical Spondylosis Symptom Scale score of two groups of patients were statistically analyzed,and the description results were as follows:(1)Comparison of visual analogue scale(VAS):After treatment,compared with before treatment,the VAS scores of patients in both groups decreased to a certain extent,and the difference within the group was significant(P<0.05 in both groups),indicating that both acupuncture methods can reduce the VAS scores of patients.After treatment,the VAS score of the treatment group was(1.800 2.833)and that of the control group was(3.067 3.095),which was statistically less than P<0.05.It can be seen that the scores of the treatment group are more advantageous than those of the control group,and the difference is statistically significant.It shows that meridian dredges acupuncture is more effective in reducing VAS score of patients than conventional acupuncture.(2)comparison of Tanaka Yasuhisa Cervical Spondylosis Symptom Scale scores of:before and after treatment,the scores of motor function and sensation of upper limbs in the control group and the treatment group were improved,and the difference between the two groups was significant(P<0.05 for both groups).However,compared with the control group,the score of the treatment group is higher,and the Tanaka Yasuhisa Cervical Spondylosis Symptom Scale score between groups is P<0.05,which is statistically significant,indicating that meridian dredges acupuncture is more effective in improving the Tanaka Yasuhisa Cervical Spondylosis Symptom Scale score of patients than conventional acupuncture.(3)Overall evaluation of curative effect:the cure rate,marked efficiency and improvement rate of the treatment group were 66.6%,26.6%and 6.6%,respectively.No invalid cases were found and the total effective rate was 93.2%.In the control group,the cure rate was 53.3%,the effective rate was 23.3%,and the improvement rate was 20%.There were 2 invalid cases,and the overall effective rate was 76.6%.Compared with the control group,the overall effective rate of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).It can be seen that meridian dredges acupuncture has a good overall effect on treating cervical spondylotic radiculopathy,and it has a significant effect on improving the TCM symptoms of patients.Conclusion(1)meridian dredges acupuncture is obviously superior to conventional acupuncture in relieving patients' pain,which can significantly reduce patients' pain score and has good clinical effect.(2)meridian dredges acupuncture is also significantly better than conventional acupuncture in relieving patients' neck disorders,which can better restore patients' neck function.(3)In the overall curative effect,the cure rate of Meridian Dredgers acupuncture is higher,the overall effective rate of treatment is significantly higher than that of conventional acupuncture treatment,and the recurrence rate of Meridian Dredgers acupuncture is lower than that of conventional acupuncture treatment in follow-up,which has good clinical and long-term curative effect. |
