| Purpose:The purpose of this study is to observe the clinical efficacy of Bushen Huoxue Decoction in the treatment of erectile dysfunction with varicocele,in order to improve the erectile function and improve the quality of life of patients.Method: 64 patients with ED(erectile dysfunction)and VC(varicocele)in Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of traditional Chinese medicine from January 2020 to December 2020 were randomly divided into observation group(n = 32)and control group(n= 32).The observation group was given Bushen Huoxue Decoction,and the control group was given Huanshao capsule and Xuefu Zhuyu Capsule.OUTCOME MEASURES: 1.International index of erectile Function-5(IIEF-5 score);2.Serum testosterone,estradiol and prolactin;3.TCM symptom score;4.Rigi Scan penile erection hardness parameters: average hardness of penile head,swelling ratio of penile head,average hardness of penile root,swelling ratio of penile root,average duration of erection.The IIEF-5 score,serum testosterone,estradiol,prolactin,TCM symptom score and Rigi Scan penile erection hardness parameters before and after treatment were recorded in each group: average hardness of penile head,swelling ratio of penile head,average hardness of penile root,swelling ratio of penile root,average duration of erection,The experimental data were statistically analyzed.Results:The clinical observation,the observation group and the control group were 32 cases,two groups of 2 and 3 patients did not timely re diagnosis and fell off,59 patients completed the clinical observation,the results are as follows:1.the score of IIEF-5 in the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);2.The serum testosterone,estradiol and prolactin in the two groups were improved before and after treatment,but there was no statistical significance(P > 0.05);3.The rigidity parameters of Rigi Scan penis before and after treatment were improved: average hardness of penis head,proportion of penis head swelling and average duration of erection,but there was no statistical significance(P > 0.05).The improvement of the average hardness of the penis root and the swelling ratio of the penis root in the observation group was better than that of the control group(P < 0.05);4.the improvement of TCM symptom score in observation group was better than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusion:1.Bushen Huoxue Decoction can improve the clinical symptoms of patients with erectile dysfunction and varicocele,improve the IIEF-5 score,TCM symptom score and Rigi Scan penile erection hardness parameters(average penile root hardness,penile root swelling ratio),the curative effect is better than that of patients taking Huanshao capsule and Xuefu Zhuyu Capsule.2.Bushen Huoxue Decoction can tonify the kidney and essence,activate blood circulation and regulate qi,which is more targeted for the treatment of ED patients with VC.3.Bushen Huoxue Decoction in the treatment of ED with mild and moderate VC provides more clinical treatment for non-surgical treatment of erectile dysfunction with varicocele. |
