Clinical Observation Of Eye Acupuncture Combined With Body Acupuncture In The Treatment Of Oculomotor Nerve Palsy After Stroke

Purpose:This paper observed the clinical efficacy of ocular acupuncture combined with body acupuncture in the treatment of oculomotor nerve palsy after stroke,providing a new method for the clinical treatment of oculomotor nerve palsy after stroke.Materials and Methods:A total of 60 patients with oculomotor nerve palsy after stroke who were admitted to the inpatient department and outpatient department of Brain K2 Department of Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from October 2018 to September 2020 were selected and divided into control group(n=30)and experimental group(n=30)by random number table method.The control group received body acupuncture combined with internal medicine treatment,body acupuncture acupoint selection was the affected side Yang white,after the ball;Bilateral Hegu,Zusanli,Taichong.The experimental group was additively treated with eye acupuncture on the basis of the control group.The upper focal area,lower focal area,liver area and kidney area of the affected side were taken by eye needle.After acupuncture,the needle was kept for 30 min,once a day,for 5 consecutive days and 2 days rest.The treatment for 4 weeks was a course of treatment.After two courses,the observation indexes were as follows: visual VAS score,change of eyelid ptosis degree,improvement of pupil size.Referred to the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine issued by the "TCM disease diagnosis and curative effect standards" in the curative effect judgment standards.The obtained data were analyzed by SPSS26.0 statistical software.Results:1.Statistical analysis showed that the two groups after treatment,patients degree of diplopia of VAS score was better than control group,with statistical difference(P<0.05),the degree of ptosis trial group was better than control group,with statistical difference(P<0.05),the test was better than control group,the changes of pupil was statistically difference(P<0.05).2.The total effective rate of the experimental group was 80.00%,and that of the control group was 63.33%,with statistical difference(P<0.05).The results showed that the efficacy of the experimental group was better than that of the control group.Conclusion:1.The clinical efficacy of eye acupuncture combined with body acupuncture in the treatment of oculomotor nerve palsy after stroke was better than that of body acupuncture group.2.Eye acupuncture can effectively improve patients' diplopia,eyelid drooping,pupil changes and other clinical manifestations.3.Eye acupuncture can stimulate the upper focal area,lower focal area,liver area and kidney area of the eye,regulate the movement of Qi and blood around the eye and the corresponding physiological functions of the viscera,dredge the eye meridians.
