Analysis Of Foreign SCI Acupuncture Clinical Literature In The Past Five Years

Objective:In order to gain an in-depth understanding of the basic situation of foreign acupuncture and moxibustion research and the development status of foreign acupuncture clinical research in 2015-2019,this study focuses on foreign acupuncture and moxibustion English literatures of which the first author is not Chinese(including Taiwanese)published in SCI source journals the past five years,extracts and deeply analyzes the number and content of the target literature to analyze the current status and characteristics of acupuncture and moxibustion research aboard,to evaluate the quality of current foreign acupuncture and moxibustion clinical research,so as to further provide convenience for domestic and foreign scholars to improve the quality and level of acupuncture and moxibustion research,to further promote and carry forward the spiritual connotation of acupuncture and moxibustion,and to further promote the future development of Chinese acupuncture and moxibustion and even Chinese medicine.Methods:With "acupuncture" and "moxibustion" as the search term respectively,selecting the two foreign databases Web of Science(SCI)and Pubmed,and selecting the foreign acupuncture and moxibustion SCI English literatures in the last five years within the range of January 1,2015 to December 31,2019.Using the Note-express Document Manager,Excel and other data managers to manage the obtained documents.According to the literature abstracts,preliminary classification of the literature is carried out,then literature information is extracted,reports are made on the annual distribution of the literature,the publication region,the publication periodicals,the subject categories involved in the literature,etc.are reported to preliminarily understand the general situation of foreign acupuncture and moxibustion research in the past five years.At the same time,according to the research topic,the literatures are divided into acupuncture related literatures and moxibustion related literatures,and the contents of the two kind of literatures are analyzed in depth,in order to grasp the specific content and depth of foreign acupuncture and moxibustion research.Finally,deeply analyzing the contents especially the operation of acupuncture and moxibustion of the foreign SCI literatures of highscore in the past five years,with a view to mastering the cutting-edge development of international acupuncture research,and timely discovering and pointing out the current difficulties encountered in the development of international acupuncture research,in order to further promote the development of acupuncture and moxibustion research.Results:(1)In the literature of foreign acupuncture and moxibustion SCI source journals from 2015 to 2019,foreign acupuncture and moxibustion studies have shown problems and status quo,such as unbalanced regional development,unbalanced development of acupuncture and moxibustion,and unbalanced understanding of acupuncture and moxibustion content;(2)The understanding and research of acupuncture and moxibustion abroad is still in the initial stage of efficacy verification.The disease spectrum studied is not the dominant disease of traditional acupuncture and moxibustion,and its research purpose has a strong practical orientation;(3)The results of foreign acupuncture studies are often contradictory,and the evidence provided by the studies is very limited;(4)Foreign acupuncture research has also supplemented and developed traditional Chinese acupuncture to a certain extent.Conclusions:(1)In the literatures of the foreign Acupuncture SCI journal in 2015-2019,there is a general lack of embodiment and application of the essence contents such as "adjusting the spirits" and "adjusting qi" of acupuncture,the content is deviating,the development of acupuncture and moxibustion research in foreign countries is unbalanced in regional development,in the development of acupuncture and moxibustion,in the understanding of acupuncture content and so on;(2)Foreign studies on acupuncture and moxibustion,on the one hand,have promoted the development of acupuncture and moxibustion in the aspects of local microstructure and anatomical entity,and the expanding spectrum of diseases of acupuncture and moxibustion,on the other hand,have shown negative effects such as "de-sinicization" and"focusing on the manipulation technology and ignoring the basic fundamentals".(3)The current research status of acupuncture and moxibustion in foreign countries actually reflects the lack of depth of knowledge and understanding of acupuncture and moxibustion in the West,the research methods are not in line with the characteristics of acupuncture and moxibustion,and the clinical effects of acupuncture and moxibustion cannot be maximization and are in the stage of blind exploration;(4)Through the international acupuncture research status,we reflect the development of the domestic acupuncture and moxibustion,we should realize the scientific qualities of acupuncture and moxibustion science itself,on the basis of inheriting and carrying forward the core essence of traditional acupuncture and moxibustion,absorbing foreign advanced content and technology,promoting the long-run development of acupuncture,so that the "combination of manipulation technics and basic theories" acupuncture and moxibustion stand in the world medical forest.
