Objective: Retrieve the literature about acupuncture and moxibustion treatment of Stranguria in ancient medical books and modern literature,then analyze the regulation of prescription and acupoint selection in treating Stranguria systematically and summarize the high-frequency acupoints.which can provide the basis of acupoint selection and theoretical support for clinical research and treatment.Methods: Retrieve the Encyclopaedia of Chinese Traditional Medicine and the website of CNKI in computer and select the related literature in the part of acupuncture and moxibustion.Establish the database after completing the standardization of data processing and make a statistical analysis with Microsoft Excel.Results: After retrieval,307 articles of acupuncture and moxibustion prescriptions in ancient literature were found,involving 92 points of acupoints,550 frequency,and average frequency of 5.98 times per acupoint.There are 200 articles of single acupoint prescription,77 articles for the prescription of the double and the multi-acupoints.prescription.Of the 92 acupoints applied,there are 85 belong to main and collateral channels and 7 are the odd acupoints.Among the 194 prescriptions,there are the largest number of single acupoint prescriptions,it's 132 articles,34 double acupoints for the prescriptions and 28 prescriptions for multi-acupoints.The 194 section in this paper,clearly documented the acupuncture and moxibustion methods of the 64,the 43 for moxibustion,15 for acupuncture,and 6 for both of them.The 194 section in this paper,clearly documented the type of syndromes of 65 articles,of which 11 about stranguria of heat,9 about urolithic stranguria,18 about tranguria due to disturbance of qi,12 about tranguria due to hematuria,3 about tranguria due to chyluria,2 about tranguria due to overstrain,1 about tranguria of chilliness,1 about female tranguria,8 about “five types of tranguria”.201 modern literature,involving 88 acupoints,frequency 1203 times,average frequency 13.67 times per acupoint.Acupuncture and moxibustion mainly include acupuncture,electroacupuncture,moxibustion,medicinal moxibustion,acupoint injection and acupoint catgut embedding.“Prostatitis” as keywords to retrieve documents,122;“urinary calculus” retrieved 24 articles;“urethral syndrome” 22;“certificate” 13;“urinary tract infection” 9;“kidney stones” 5;“celiac cystitis”;“chyluria” 2.Conclusions: Most of the ancient physicians in single acupoint prescription acupuncture treatment of stranguria;in all prescriptions,acupoint application proportion of Conception Vessel,Bladder Meridian of Foot-taiyang,Liver Meridian of Foot-jueyin and Kidney Meridian of Foot-shaoyin on high;selected acupoints located in lower limb,chest and abdomen;at the same time,pay attention to the application of five acupoints,acupoints at joins,back Shu acupoint.The 5 most widely used are: Guanyuan,Qihai,Shenshu,Sanyinjiao,Dadun.Modern acupuncture in the clinical treatment of stranguria when prescription points more,up to 5 points with prescription acupoints: Guanyuan,Zhongji,Sanyinjiao,Baihui and Shenshu.Compared with the ancient treatment of drenching,modern acupuncture and moxibustion focus more directly on the site of disease,the range of selection is smaller,and the treatment means is more abundant.
