| Objective:To observe the effect of the acupuncture of "regulating spirit" method on the Visual Analog Scale(VAS)and the Rhinoconjunctivitis Quality of Life Questionnaire(RQLQ)of patients with allergic rhinitis(AR)treatment in order to evaluate the clinical efficacy;Through the study of the intestinal flora of some AR patients to explore the influence of the acupuncture of "regulating spirit" method on the abundance and diversity of the intestinal flora of AR patients.Methods:A total of 36 patients with allergic rhinitis were treated finally,and 11 of them were conducted intestinal flora research.At the begining,the patients was in a prone position who were applied with the needing of the following standard acupoints:Dazhui(GV14),Feishu(BL13),Ganshu(BL18),Pishu(BL20),Shenshu(BL23),and after the Qi response was obtained on acupoints,a supplementary stimulation was applied on each point for about 30 seconds and keeping the needles were left for 20 minutes.Then from prone to supine position,the acupoints including Baihui(GV20),Yintang(GV29),Yingxiang(LI20),Hegu(LI4),Taichoong(LR3)were repeated again,and after the Qi response was obtained on acupoints,a neutral stimulation was applied on each point for about 30 seconds and keeping the needles were left for 20 minutes,using the electroacupuncture on Baihui(GV20),Yintang(GV29),Yingxiang(LI20),choosing continuous wave and the frequency of 2Hz.Acupuncture sessions were applied 3 times a week during 6 weeks.Indicators:VAS as a major indicator was used to evaluate nasal symptoms,and RQLQ as a secondary outcome was used to evaluate the AR patient quality of life before and after treatment.The study of intestinal flora were being treated part of their faeces before and after to perform metagenomic testing.Finally,SPSS25.0,R or other softwares were used to perform statistical analysis on the obtained data to analyze the comparison of VAS and RQLQ scores,the abundance and diversity of intestinal flora before and after the patient's own treatment.Results:A total of 38 patients were recruited in the study,and 2 of them fell off,and a total of 36 cases entered the statistical analysis,of which 11 were conducted intestinal flora research.1.After treatment,patient's total VAS score and overall symptom score,including sneezing,runny nose,nasal obstruction/stuffy nose,and nasal itching were lower than before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01);2.After treatment,the total RQLQ score and sleep problems,non-nose-eye symptoms,actual problems,nasal symptoms,daily activities,eye symptoms,and unhealthy emotions were lower than before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01);3.After treatment,Clostridiales,Erysipelotrichaceae-UCG-003,Lachnospira,Clostridium-sensu-stricto-1,Fusicatenibacter increased,and Deferribacteres,Clostridia-1,unidentified-Deferribacteres,Alistipes decreased,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.The change of Chaol,ACE,Shannon,Simpson diversity index before and after treatment was not statistically significant(P>0.05);5.In terms of adverse reactions:no serious adverse reactions occurred during the treatment.Conclusion:1.The acupuncture of "regulating spirit" method can improve the clinical symptoms of patients with AR;2.The acupuncture of "regulating spirit" method can improve the quality of patient's life with AR;3.Clostridiales,Erysipelotrichaceae-UCG-003,Lachnospira,Clostridium-sensu-stricto-1,Fusicatenibacter,Deferribacteres,Clostridia-1,unidentified-Deferribacteres,Alistipes in the intestinal flora of AR patients'abundance has a big differences,and these differences may be related to the intervention of the acupuncture of "regulating spirit" method,at the same time we need further study.4.The acupuncture of "regulating spirit" method has good safety in the treatment of AR;... |
