Correlation Analysis between IL-23/Th17 Axis Related Inflammatory Factors and Plaque Psoriasis of Blood-heat and Blood-stasis SyndromeObjective:To investigate the expression and significance of IL-23,IL-17A and VEGF in peripheral blood of patients with plaque psoriasis of blood-heat and blood-stasis syndrome.Methods:Sixty patients with plaque psoriasis of blood-heat and blood-stasis syndrome were studied,and the expression levels of IL-23,IL-17A,and VEGF in peripheral blood of the patients were detected by ELISA and compared with thirty healthy control subjects to understand their expression levels in plaque psoriasis.PASI and TCM symptom score were recorded to analyze the correlation between IL-23/Thl7 axis-related inflammatory factors and PASI and TCM symptom score in patients with plaque psoriasis with blood-heat and blood-stasis syndrome.Results:Compared with the healthy control group,the levels of IL-23,IL-17A,and VEGF in the peripheral blood of patients with plaque psoriasis of blood-heat and blood-stasis syndrome were significantly increased,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).IL-23,IL-17A,and VEGF levels were positively correlated with PASI scores(P<0.05),but not significantly correlated with TCM symptom scores(P>0.05).Conclusion:IL-23,IL-17A and VEGF were highly expressed in peripheral blood of patients with plaque psoriasis of blood-heat and blood-stasis syndrome,and were positively correlated with PASI score.Study content ? Effect of Exian Huaban Decoction on IL-23/Th17 Axis Related Inflammatory Factors in Patients with Plaque Psoriasis of Blood-heat and Blood-stasis SyndromeObjective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Exian Huaban Decoction in the treatment of patients with plaque psoriasis of blood-heat and blood-stasis syndrome,and to explore the possible mechanism of Exian Huaban Decoction in the treatment of plaque psoriasis of blood-heat and blood-stasis syndrome based on IL-23/Th17 axis.Methods:A total of 60 patients with plaque psoriasis of blood-heat and blood-stasis syndrome were randomly divided into observation group and control group.Patients in both groups were treated with topical calcipotriol ointment for basic treatment,and patients were given education and life guidance.The observation group was added with Exian Huaban decoction,the control group was added with compound Qingdai capsule.The course of treatment was 4 weeks in both group.Before and after treatment,the clinical efficacy of the two groups was observed,and the PASI score,DLQI score,VAS score,TCM symptom score and changes in serum IL-23,IL-17A,and VEGF levels were compared between the two groups.Recurrence was compared between the two groups after 3 months of follow-up.Results:The effective rate of the observation group was 86.7%,which was superior to that of the control group(63.3%),and the difference had statistical significance(P<0.05);There was no significant difference in the clinical symptom scores and quality of life scores before treatment in the group(P>0.05).Through the comparison before and after treatment,it was found that the improvement of PASI score,DLQI score,VAS score and TCM symptom score in the observation group was more advantageous than that in the control group,and the difference had statistical significance(P<0.05);Before treatment,the difference of the levels of IL-23,IL-17A,and VEGF in the peripheral blood between the two groups had no statistical significance(P>0.05);After 4 weeks of treatment,Exian Huaban decoction was superior to Compound Qingdai Capsule in down-regulating the levels of IL-23,IL-17A and VEGF in peripheral blood,and the difference had statistical significance(P<0.05);The recurrence rate of the observation group was significantly lower than the recurrence rate of the control group,but there was no statistical significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion:Exian Huaban Decoction can improve the clinical symptoms,signs and quality of life of patients with plaque psoriasis of blood-heat and blood-stasis syndrome,with exact clinical efficacy and low recurrence rate.The mechanism may be through regulating the levels of IL-23/Th17 axis related inflammatory factors IL-23,IL-17A and VEGF,so as to effectively treat plaque psoriasis.
