Clinical Observation Of Gualou Tongmai Decoction In The Treatment Of Coronary Heart Disease (stable Angina) With Phlegm Blocking Syndrome

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Fructus Trichosanthis Freeing-vessel Decoction in the treatment of coronary heart disease(stable angina pectoris)with phlegm blockage,and provide new ideas and directions for clinical prevention and treatment of coronary heart disease.Methods:Seventy two patients who fullfill the inclusion diagnostic criteria in the outpatient clinic of Yueyang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital were randomly divided into a control group(36 patients)and a treatment group(3 6 patients).The control group was treated with basic Western medicine medication and lifestyle intervention while the treatment group was treated with Fructus Trichosanthis Freeing-vessel Decoction daily on the basis of the control group.The patients in the treatment group were treated for 28 days,and the safety indexes such as the TCM symptom score,angina pectoris symptom score,ST-T changes in ECG,nitroglycerin discontinuation,and three major routine,liver and kidney functions were observed before and after the trial in both groups.All the data statistics and analysis were calculated with the usage of the SPSS 26.0 software.Results:1.The deviation of general data such as gender,age and duration of disease between the treatment group and the control group did not have statistically significance(P>0.05)and was comparable.The deviation in TCM symptom scores and angina pectoris symptom scores between the two groups before treatment did not have statistically significance(P>0.05)and was comparable.2.The comparison of TCM symptom efficacy between the two groups after treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 87.879%while the control group was75.758%.There was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the treatment result of the treatment group was better than the treatment result of the control group.3.After treatment,the efficacy of angina pectoris symptoms was compared between the two groups.The total effective rate of the treatment group was 84.849%while the control group was 69.697%.There was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the result of the treatment group was more effective than the treatment result of the control group.4.After treatment,the efficacy of electrocardiogram was compared between the two groups.The total effective rate of the treatment group was 63.636%,while the effective rate of the control group was 42.424%.There was statistically significance(P<0.05),and the treatment group had better result than the control group.5.After treatment,the total nitroglycerin reduction rate was 78.789%of the treatment group while the total nitroglycerin reduction rate was 66.667%in the control group.There was statistically significance(P<0.05)and the result of the treatment group was more effective than the control group.Conclusion:Fructus Trichosanthis Freeing-vessel Decoction has definite efficacy in treating patients with coronary heart disease(stable angina pectoris)with phlegm obstruction evidence.With the combination of standardized treatment with western medicine,it can significantly improve patients'TCM symptoms,relieve angina pectoris,improve resting electrocardiogram,reduce nitroglycerin dosage.Besides,it is a very safe treatment.
