Objective:The purpose of this study is to observe the effects of thunder fire moxibustion and acupuncture on the clinical symptoms and signs of patients with allergic rhinitis of lung deficiency cold type,and and compare the advantages of the two treatments in the treatment of allergic rhinitis with lung deficiency and cold type.Hope to provide a new idea for clinical treatment of this disease,lessen the symptoms of patients,improve the quality of life.Methods:60 patients with allergic rhinitis of lung deficiency cold type were randomly divided into thunder fire moxibustion group and acupuncture group according to the ratio of 1:1.In the thunder fire moxibustion group,1 case fell off and 29 cases were actually completed,which were treated by thunder fire moxibustion;in the acupuncture group,30 cases were actually completed,which were treated by acupuncture.Once every other day,14 times in total.Data were collected before treatment,the second weeks,the fourth weeks and the fourth weeks after treatment.The Mann-Whitney U Test was used to compare the difference between groups before and after treatment.Repeated measurement data analysis of variance was used to compare the difference between groups before and after treatment.Results:The total effective rate of the thunder fire moxibustion group was 86.21%,and that of the acupuncture group was 73.33%.By Mann-Whitney U Test,the curative effect of the thunder fire moxibustion group was better than that of the acupuncture group(p﹤0.05).In terms of sneezing and runny nose symptoms,the effect of thunder fire moxibustion group was better than that of acupuncture group(p﹤0.05);There was no significant difference in the main symptoms of nasal itching and nasal congestion between the two groups before and after treatment(p﹥0.05).There was no significant difference in secondary symptoms such as spontaneous sweating,shortness of breath,low voice and pale complexion between the two groups(p﹥0.05).In terms of the secondary symptom and the swelling of turbinate,evil wind and fear of cold,the effect of thunder fire moxibustion group was better than that of acupuncture group(p﹤0.05).Conclusion:Both thunder fire moxibustion and acupuncture can better treat allergic rhinitis.The effect of thunder fire moxibustion group was better than that of acupuncture group in improving sneezing,runny nose,chilly wind and turbinate swelling of patients with allergic rhinitis;the effect of two groups was similar in improving nasal congestion,nasal itching,spontaneous sweating,shortness of breath and low voice.After the end of the treatment,the patients in the thunder fire moxibustion group and the acupuncture group had different degrees of recurrence,but the two groups still maintained good clinical efficacy.
